In reply to: [WP-dTree] Closing tree issuesSorry but I don’t get it.
– You write this plugin.
– I have a problem with it.
– You say it’s a bug in your code.
– You tell me to fix it myself.
– I can’t do it since I am not savvy enough at coding. Then you put the topic to “resolved”…
What am I missing?
I admit, I wasn’t begging you with sugar on top and I apologize for this. It’s just that I am a little critical when it comes to the attitude of some programmers that release plugins on this website and then abandon it with no support. In other words, I might have over reacted a little by asking if you abandoned support for this plugin. But telling me to fix your product myself when you declare my issue as a bug triggered this.
Back to the real issue. Since I am not able to fix it myself, are you willing to figure it out or did you mean that my issue only occurs in my setup and it has nothing to do with your code?
In this case I would agree that I am on my own since this is freeware.

In reply to: [WP-dTree] Closing tree issuesThanks for your answer. I’ve tried to figure it out. But I am not a programmer. I am at a loss here…
Since you identified it as bugs, is there anything you can do? Of have you abandoned the support on this?

In reply to: [Before After Image Slider Lite] Envato, please… and other questionsHi Adrian,
Thanks for getting back to me.
1. I guess Envato was initially a good idea. Turns out it’s run by business people and not real human beings. I don’t know of any other platform that would be fair. From years of working in the music industry I saw the same thing happen to bands when they released their albums with a record label, big or small, greed is everywhere. I’ve seen bands prosper when they started selling their products directly. So the only thing I can truly suggest is to install woocommerce (or alike) and hook it up with PayPal to sell directly. People can now put their credit card behind PayPal and all is fine and easy.
2. The framework thing is not a big issue. But might scare people to go for your product. Since it’s working fine using shortcodes, you could skip it and use the Visual Composer integration as a selling point for the PRO version.
3. As for the link to your website. It’s when I click on the Author information on the WP plugins page where it reads ” MOEWE (by Adrian MΓΆrchen)”. Or click on “View Details” on the same page then again on “Author”.
4. The thing is that on iOS it doesn’t scroll between the two versions when I hold my finger down and slide it from left to right on the image. I have to tap the image or use the slider below. Which is fine. Being able to slide could be another PRO feature π
5. WOW. Now that I see your website I see tons of options to work with your plugin. Cooooool! Thanks!
Alex
Sorry for taking time to get back to you.
For some magic reason it actually really works now. I didn’t change anything. Just updates et. al.
Thanks for assisting me on this one!
Thank you for looking into this.
I did change the image size but I also did regenerate the thumbnails. Zoom magnifier does not work on the entire image.
Here: http://dev02.fullframestudios.ch/Produkt/armagnac-vieille-reserve/
Funny enough, if you add the first bottle of wine twice to the cart, on the second click a page comes up where the zoom magnifier works. This is when the wine is sold out. Unfortunately I can’t post the link here. You will have to go and add it twice to your the cart to see it for yourselves.
I am at a loss here… Any help/hint/direction is appreciated at this point.
Thanks!
Update: I changed the image to be square, which is tedious, we’ll have to change about 2000 images prior to uploading. Although that kinda fixed the problem, there has to be another solution for this…
And on top of that with the square image in place another issue comes up. It seems the style for the yith_magnifier_mousetrap has an offset of about 100 pixels. Meaning I can’t magnify the upper half of the image.
Is that theme related? Could you please have a quick look at my site and tell me what’s going on?
Thanks in advance!
I second that. Thanks!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Hide emtpy recordsWOW! Thank you. Works perfectly!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Hide emtpy recordsThanks for the pointer Xanu. Unfortunately it doesn’t quiet do what I try to achieve. Using your suggestion gives me a list of only those records, but it gives me a full list with all the entries for the records that have something in the field “city” (in my case “software”). The output is showing the fields in the order that are defined in the admin panel of the plugin.
I am basically trying to do this: http://xnau.com/multiple-databases-with-participants-database/ But instead of showing the signup page, I am trying to get a list of only some fields, which are in a group, and only those records that have a value in the “software” field.
The closest I got using this: [pdb_list fields=”software, url, license”]
But then it shows all records and I can’t hide blank ones.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Lightbox Plus Colorbox] Simple but swipable gallery for mobile devicesStill hanging in there to find a solution.
Any hint into the right direction would be really appreciated!
