• I was looking for a plugin to add a simple text field so customers can add a greeting text that shall be shipped with the goods.

Good concept, hence the 1 star.

    Execution and support: zero stars…

    HTML/CSS implementation: bad
    – The text field butts up in the same div as the quantity and add to cart div.
    – On the checkout page the greeting message is added to the product name/title and messes p the entire shopping experience.
    – In the email the same, the text from the text field is added to the product name/title.

I do not recommend this. I barely make bad reviews, but this one deserves it unless the creator wakes up and at least answers the open support requests. Especially considering that he sells a PRO version of this…

I’m very sorry you had this experience. It’s always crucial for us to address users’ issues. Can you please confirm if the two issues you have with our plugin are; the CSS implementation issue that forces the text field to be inside the same div as the quantity div, and the HTML issue, which passes the text from our plugin to the product page?

I shall await your response on this.

@oluisrael thanks for chiming in finally. If you’d go through the tickets, you see the problems documented and explained with screenshots etc.

Off course it would be a good idea to fix those issues. But I am not concerned anymore with this since I switched to another plugin. Also documented in the tickets.

I do understand that plugins offered on here are free, some with a paid PRO version available. So I can see that for some developers it is a side project and the time they can invest in support is limited. That said, it is more so important for us users to find plugins where issues are solved in a timely manner. That IS the main reason, for me at least, to then consider either donate some coin or consider buying the PRO version.
