Thank you for your message, and providing the detailed steps to reproduce.
The ability to pay for on hold orders is not currently a feature offered by the Afterpay plugin. The Afterpay standard payment flow does not create an order in the WooCommerce system until after a payment has been confirmed and approved by Afterpay. It is intended to reduce the amount of unpaid orders. Thus it was not anticipated that a customer may be given an existing order URL and attempt to choose Afterpay as the payment method and proceed. This scenario was therefore not tested during the development of the plugin.
However, suggestions are always appreciated. A ticket has been created separately to raise this suggestion with the engineering team for consideration and review.
Any updates will be distributed via the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Disabling the Payment Info on Category Pages should achieve the goal mentioned above. It is strange to hear that it does absolutely nothing.

To remove the Afterpay information on the product pages only, please go to the settings of the Afterpay plugin, find section Payment Info on Individual Product Pages and uncheck the Enable checkbox right next to it, then click “Save changes”.

Thank you for your review. Our sincere apologies for the long wait.
The issue has been investigated and resolved today. The menu bar was broken due to an error in a minified JavaScript file which was generated by a third party plugin called WP Rocket. It has a warning ‘This could break things!‘ on its Minify Javascript files feature. The team has disabled that feature, and problem solved.

Thank you for submitting a dedicated support ticket.
The team is glad that the issue had been fully resolved last Wednesday.
After investigation, the team confirmed that the issue was caused by a third party plugin that combined and minified all javascript files on the website. The team helped to change the settings of that plugin, and the issue went straight away.
