While it is not possible to perform compatibility tests for a practically infinite number of plugin configurations, the Afterpay plugin does include a Compatibility Mode to reduce the potential for conflicts with other plugins as much as possible. The main trade-off is that it allows WooCommerce to create the Order as soon as the customer proceeds to Afterpay from the final page of the WooCommerce checkout. This can potentially result in a high volume of cancelled orders, as unpaid orders will be cancelled automatically if payment is not confirmed within an hour.
The team’s recommendations are as follows:
1. Update the Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin to the latest version (if applicable)
2. Enable Compatibility Mode from the WordPress Admin by checking the “Compatibility Mode” box at “WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Afterpay” and clicking to save changes.If this doesn’t address the challenge, the team would be happy to assist with an investigation. The Afterpay plugin does not add any Ts&Cs checkbox to the WooCommerce checkout, except for the one shown in the payment gateway for legal reasons before a consumer can confirm payment. The checkbox in question is most likely enabled by other settings in WooCommerce or even third party plugins (if any is being used).

Thanks for your question. The Afterpay plugin currently relies on a checkout token to complete the order, so Afterpay is not available for orders that bypassed the checkout.

When the product price is not within the Afterpay order limits, that message (“Afterpay available between $35.00 – $1,000.00 Learn More“) will show. In this case, product RILEY is $10, and Afterpay order minimum is $35.
The “Payment Info Display for Product Variant” message would show up after a variant option is selected and the price gets updated.
