@boilr: I’m having too stange issues with the dashboard interface. It seems related to some javascript scripts. In my case the main menu entries are working fine, but for ex. in the rich editor I can’t add any content using the Media content buttons (the buttons won’t work).
When I have time I’ll try to disable all plugins to see if things get better. I’ll check also in another browser…
@manicato: It seem’s to me you have the “Maintenance plugin” activated, don’t u?
I’m having issues too when trying to edit posts (or drafts) after upgrading to 2.8 . Seems to be related to a javascript or ajax problem:
for example, the “Visibility: Public Edit” Edit link won’t work.
Neither is working the “Add image” button…
I rolled back to 2.7.1 for the moment.
