    Hi,

I made a new sidebar and allowed the mainsidebar to be replaced but the new sidebar isn’t showing.
I filled in the location places and add some widgets to the new sidebar.

    What can go wrong please?

    Thanks!

    Tine

    Hi,

I added other locaties with an other sidebar. It still doesn’t work.
    Could you please help me?

    Hello @tineclaus

    Hope you’re doing well!

Please run a quick check for a conflict with another plugin or theme. Deactivate all other plugins and test if the sidebar is showing; if it is still not showing please switch to a default WordPress theme to test for a conflict with a theme. If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time to find the one that causes this.

Please let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi,

I did as you asked and turned every plugin out. While doing that i discovered that it is only when going in the backend of the website that the sidebars aren’t wright. If i go to my website online (i turned off the ‘maintenance mode’ for a while) the correct sidebar is showing. Do you know how this can happen?

    Thanks!

    Greetings,
    Tine

    Hey @tineclaus,

I am not sure about the cause, it can be because of caching or maybe some data in the database is corrupted. First, can you check for caching plugins/systems then if still continue can you try to delete all sidebars and recreate them?

    Cheers,
    Oguz
