In reply to: [PDF Embedder] PDF Opens in Browsers but not in Adobe ReaderHi @slowhand007,
The PDF Embedder Secure plugin will not permit the PDF to be accessed by any means except via the embedded viewer.
If you are permitting the download of the PDF from the site, any errors in the document would have been present in the original document as the PDF Embedder plugin does not alter the original in any way—it simply displays the document. It would then be worthwhile going back to the original document and checking it through Adobe Acrobat, a PDF repair service, or exporting the document again from the source.
If you require additional assistance, please feel free to send an email to contact@wp-pdf.com as we may not see messages posted here to respond in a timely fashion. If possible, a link to the page where the PDF is displayed and/or a copy of the original document would be helpful.

In reply to: [Embed Files from Google Drive] Step 7 – Authorized DomainsHi @emgraphics,
Thanks for sharing. We do want to mention that if the login access is internal (i.e. only used by people within your organization), it is not necessary to have the app verified by Google (step 6)—this does simplify the process somewhat.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send an email to contact@wp-glogin.com as we may not see messages posted here to respond in a timely fashion.

In reply to: [Login for Google Apps] Password reset not workingHi @willkeyworth,
We did reply to your email regarding your license; however, for some reason the your message here didn’t not get forwarded and was missed as a result—our apologies for that oversight.
If you are still unable to access your account on wp-glogin, please send us an email at contact@wp-glogin.com and we’d be happy to help you out.
Hi @savealotonline,
The All-in-One-Intranet plugin uses the default WP login that will provide the option to login, or register should the user not have an account already. If someone tries to access a page when not logged in, they will be directed to that page (wp-login) to take the appropriate action; however, you could create a custom page to redirect to:

In reply to: [PDF Embedder] Not showing an embedded pdfHi @martinbrucker,
As most of your documents are rendering correctly, the issue is likely specific to your document and not the plugin code itself. How does this document differ from the others? Was it created in a different software program than the others?
I would recommend that you go back to the original document, if you can, and export it again to a PDF, making sure that you flatten all content such as images, embedded fonts, etc. and export it to PDF.
If you do not have an editable original document, running the PDF through the free repair tool here (https://www.ilovepdf.com/repair-pdf) may fix the corruption in the document to resolve the rendering issue.

In reply to: [PDF Embedder] Using This Plugin With a URL (Wanting to FTP Docs to Server)Hi @ndar,
Yes, the PDF Embedder will support embedding PDF documents from “external” sources (i.e. not from within the /wp-content/uploads/ directory). Because you are embedding from an external source, using the Classic editor or a Shortcode block would be the best way to proceed and manually enter the shortcode
[pdf-embedder url="path-to-pdf.pdf"]where path-to-pdf.pdf is the file path to your FTP-uploaded document. This method will also work for documents served from S3, Dropbox, and other CDNs (https://wp-pdf.com/kb/hosting-pdfs-on-other-services-such-as-amazon-s3/)
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send an email to contact@wp-pdf.com as we may not see messages posted here to respond in a timely fashion.

In reply to: [Login for Google Apps] 401 errorsHi @mike3hastie,
A 401 error on the login screen is an Invalid Credential error.
As the login normally works correctly and this error happens on subsequent visits, the issue is not likely due to the plugin settings (would see an error every time on login) but most likely due to a session mismatch or stale browser cookies on the subsequent visit. The best way to handle this would be to ensure that you are logging out of the site properly and flushing the browser cache to initiate a new session upon login.

In reply to: [Intranet & Private Site - All-In-One Intranet] Plugin Update To Date?Hi @khoavo,
The current version of the plugin is 1.7.1. We have not needed to push any updates to the plugin for compatibility to WP 5.8; however, I will post a note to the devs to see if they can update the compatibility notice for clarity purposes.
You may want to download the plugin again and upload it via FTP to overwrite your current plugin installation just to be safe.

In reply to: [PDF Embedder] Fullscreen LightboxHi @ante1974,
The paid versions of the plugin (Premium and Secure) have a fullscreen overlay that the site visitor can open to maximize their reading view of the embedded PDF. You can see it in action here by clicking on the little fullscreen button in the toolbar (outward facing arrows): https://wp-pdf.com/premium/demo/.

In reply to: [PDF Embedder] scamHi @btoole,
Sorry about the confusion regarding that email. It isn’t a scam but our attempt to safeguard our customers. We want to make sure that when an account is created using someone’s email address, that there actually is a person behind it and not some bot or other malicious use of that address! I will pass along your feedback so we can get the messaging on that email adjusted to eliminate that confusion going forward.

In reply to: [PDF Embedder] Not working after License updateHi @iblis76,
Glad to hear that you were able to get the issue resolved. One point of clarification, no version of the PDF Embedder plugin requires the jQuery Migrate plugin in order to work correctly; however, it is entirely possible that another plugin or theme element is failing due to how WP handles jQuery and is creating a cascading failure as a result. You may not have seen this earlier if you didn’t have another plugin on the site that is as dependent on JS as the PDF Embedder plugin.
