Lots of visual adjustments that make it very easy to work with, it’s all very intuitive.

Sorry the plugin doesn’t have features for menus. David can provide an update on that other solution he mentioned once that other plugin’s released though.

I wonder if you might have accidentally selected the reset option available through the previous version?
The latest update doesn’t have a reset option so that shouldn’t be possible, and also shouldn’t be possible at all for everything to just reset like that.

The theme might have (or not) been the cause for not being able to use Customizer, hard to know for sure without seeing, testing and debugging. It shouldn’t have been the cause of being reinstalled as a default WP site though.
Which black part do you want to change, the sidebar, the footer, the text in the centre?
Not sure which plugin you refer to, maybe a link?
