I am just working with Appointments plug and actually considering buying it for my wifes business website. I am using the shortcode [app_schedule service] to view a weeks appt on a new page. My question 1. How do I customise what the table looks like, I mean I would like the cells to be much wider and I would like to have text in them which detail the class that can be booked. Is that possible or do I need to edit the php code for the plug in +- the CSS. 2. What extra do I get for the paid up version, quite willing to pay for increased functionality, just would like to know what extra you get.
Thanks in advance for your time and help

  • Hi @andycollings,

Hope you’re doing great today! 🙂

WordPress.org discourages support of commercial products here (see: Commercial products are not supported here).

However, we’d love to discuss your questions about Appointments+ if you’ll get in touch through our Contact form.

But regarding visual customization, that can easily be done through custom CSS. At Appointments > Settings, you’ll see an Additional css Rules where you can add in such custom CSS code.

However, given your description, it actually sounds more like you’ll want to instead create different Services representing the different classes.

    Is that the case?

Also, I should mentioned, the plugin is designed for 1-on-1 appointments rather than class-based bookings. Multiple, concurrent bookings are possible, but only for a single Service Provider. If it’s just for your wife, the plugin could work for that.

What you’ll want to do is created multiple “dummy” providers as described here:

Does that help or make sense?

Please feel free to ask if you have questions. We’ll be happy to help! 🙂

    Thanks,
    David
