Hi there,
Here’s the permission levels. Depending on your site permissions, you’ll be able to see only specific pages in the plugin. Before this change, regular site users had access to the plugin settings, chat history, tools etc. This was technically a security breach and this is why this has now changed.
Subscriber = Live Chat, Offline Messages
Contributor = Live Chat, Offline Messages
Author = Live Chat, Offline Messages
Editor = Live Chat, Offline Messages

We’ll take a look at this tomorrow morning central european time. One question, you’re logged with a WP account that is an editor/administrator? What is the role of your user?
Specific roles can see specific tabs in the Live Chat plugin. Administrators have access to all tabs.

I am still receiving a message that there are no active chats, and I can’t access where to initiate a chat with a user on the site.
You’re sending a chat as a customer but you see no message arriving? Can you do this test again but by opening an incognito tab and sending the message as a visitor? Does it work then?
The “dashboard” is missing any actionable choices, all the blue boxes are missing.
The dashboard has little use at the moment other than to see a count of visitors currently browsing your site, news and some basic stats. The blue boxes have been removed. In the immediate next release of the plugin everything will be redesigned and modernized. We plan to address both UI and UX.
I am reluctant to keep the chat enabled on the site because the agents can’t see chats coming in – and I’m getting missed chats.
Along with the test i’ve asked you to try above, can you also check if your users/agents have the “Chat Agent” option ticked? Also are your agents admins, editors? Did you add them manually from the WP > Users menu or from the wplc plugin installation wizard?

The first error in the devtools can be ignored as this is just a warning and doesn’t actually affect anything. The second error is an actual error and it’s quite strange.

Hi, i’ve taken a look by installing the latest version of worldfence & wplc. I’m not getting any errors or reports regarding the plugin. Can you be more specific in what you’re seeing?
No idea unfortunately. We’ll take a look, but for now its best to whitelist this if possible.

Unfortunately the old 8.x plugin had to be scrapped and re-written. As an initial release, we’ve tried our best to keep our chatbox & customizations as similar as possible to the old plugin.
The customer & agent chat UI is something we’re working on for the next release of the plugin as we are aware that they need some extra work. We are aware both about the font issue and the rounded look and we’re working on these for the next release which will take some time.

Please try installing the newest version of the plugin, uninstall and then re-install it. This will ensure a 100% clean install.
Updating from very old versions could produce these types of issues. If the issue persists, please let us know:
1) What mode are you using? On-Premise, Cloud?
2) Is your WP installation on a custom VM that you manage or is it a hosted WP instance?Forum: Plugins

-JSErrors: We’ll take a look at this, we’re unable to reproduce these in our test environments and so we might need your help to reproduce this. We’ll let you know.
