• Hi,

    I originally purchased this plugin when it was WP LIVE CHAT and it has worked great since the plugin was changed to 3CX, now all i get is a screen that says “Connecting to chat sever” with a green box that says “There are no active chats.

    when a user tries to chat with us it just makes them wait and i cant even access any settings page which we originally had customised really nice and the whole look of the chat box looks horrible to how we had set it.

    I would appreciate some support please.

    Hi there,

    Please try installing the newest version of the plugin, uninstall and then re-install it. This will ensure a 100% clean install.

    Updating from very old versions could produce these types of issues. If the issue persists, please let us know:

    1) What mode are you using? On-Premise, Cloud?
    2) Is your WP installation on a custom VM that you manage or is it a hosted WP instance?

    Hi I have reinstalled, but their are a number of issues.

    1. It will not diasplay the icon
    2. It will not display the logo
    3. There is no option to change the Chat box title so it’s constantly black and unreadable especially when the main colour of chat box is black or a dark colour.
    4. When using the chat on mobile as a user it’s unusable and not responsive to the user.

    This plugin was brilliant when it was WP LIVE CHAT.

    This is not good for users who have been paying to use the plugin for years. I’m not trying to be negative towards you, I’m just disappointed.

    Hi there,

    Until we can sort out some of these issues, i suggest you download the previous 8.2.0 version from here near the bottom of the page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-live-chat-support/advanced/

    You can install the previous version as it was, we’re not discontinuing it yet. We need to make sure that the new version works well for everyone.

    We’re collecting all feedback and bug reports from users and we’re fixing everything. Any more feedback you have is welcome.
