Please confirm you are using the latest version of the plugin (version 4.4.4) as we have fixed quite a few bugs in the latest releases 🙂
The basic version will only show the chat window when the agent/admin is logged in to the site. The Pro version allows for the chat window to display and accept offline messages when agents are offline.

The Basic version only allows for one agent, the administrator of the website, however, the Pro allows for any user, with any role to be made an agent 🙂
