In reply to: Where do I start!? website with blog.I agree Twentyren is good start just copy the theme and then modify it to suit your needs. I started with the default theme editing and modifying free themes before going onto building custom themes.

same here use the wordpress main website there is tons of documentation on the site as well as tutorials. I agree read about codex and use google or join linkedin. I have a group called wordpress lovers where if you get stuck post a discussion and people will help.

Just had a look seems css link isn’t correct.
I have looked at the url for the css file and it doesn’t link to the css file. Try loading the css file again and refreshing then if this doesn’t work deactivate theme then activate again.
