In reply to: Contempt — How to Move Sidebar?I answered my own question. Since I changed the body/page to 100%, I gave the sidebar a percentage as well — 75% places the sidebar in the correct positition.

In reply to: RSS import chokes on more than ~10 entriesI’ve run into the same import limitation (which didn’t seem to appear in the WP 1.5 to WP 2.0 RSS import done previously.) After the third post, the WP 2.0 to WP 2.0.1 import included only the post’s titles.

Make the post_title clickable. This way, I have the story title and teaser without a need for a “More” link.
Add datestamp, category, # of comments to each post.
Add some type of “actions” line, such as “comment, print, link, contact author.”
This needs to be done in a way preserving the clean lines of your theme.
Just something to mull over.

In reply to: How do I abbreviate or ‘excerpt’ my posts?I’m having the same problem with excerpts (and other editing issues) in WP [2 and 1.5]. I’ve tried to edit posts (both in WYSIWYG and HTML) and the edits don’t stick. It’s a nightmare.

A couple requests:
How do I change the more prompt text from “Read the rest of this page” to “[More]”? Also, could you snug that prompt closer to the teaser text? As it is, there is a newline between the end of the teaser and the prompt.
