In reply to: [Wired Impact Volunteer Management] page widthThanks for reaching out @kozmicat72. We’re happy to try and help. A couple of quick questions:
- What theme are you using for your website and has it been adjusted at all?
- Have the volunteer opportunity templates for the plugin been copied into your theme and adjusted at all?
Once we have a little more information we should be able to help.
Thanks.
Jonathan

In reply to: [Wired Impact Volunteer Management] I don't see the sign up buttonI’m happy to help. Can you send me a link to the page where you added one of the shortcodes? It would be the page with either “[one_time_volunteer_opps]” (for one-time opportunities) or “[flexible_volunteer_opps]” (for flexible opportunities) on it.

In reply to: [Wired Impact Volunteer Management] I don't see the sign up buttonThanks for reaching out @theartisttank. Did you follow all the steps under “How do you get started?” and “How do you create a new volunteer opportunity?” at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wired-impact-volunteer-management/faq/? If not, give those a try and let me know how it goes.
Jonathan
Wired ImpactThanks for reaching out @mullyjr. Check out the FAQs at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wired-impact-volunteer-management/faq/ for more information on how to get started and use the shortcodes.
Depending on whether you want to display one-time or flexible opportunities you’ll use either [one_time_volunteer_opps] for one-time opportunities or [flexible_volunteer_opps] for flexible opportunities.
Let us know if you have any other questions at all. Also, since the plugin is brand new any feedback you can provide would be great.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Nonprofit Board Management] Shortcode for Committee ListsThanks for reaching out vanisan. It is possible to do this by using the
[list_board_members]shortcode, and customizing the list-board-members.php template file by copying it into your theme. To do this though you’ll likely need to work with someone who is comfortable programming in WordPress.I hope that’s helpful. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Wired ImpactI’m happy to hear you got it working Jay and we really appreciate you providing a detailed breakdown of your solution.
Good luck and have a great weekend.

Thanks for the details Jay. I was able to get it working on our end, so that makes me think it’s one of a few problems. Can you try to:
- Test with a shorter message in the More info field and please type the text instead of copy and paste. Sometimes some bad characters end up in there from places like Microsoft Word that we can’t see.
- If the More Info field isn’t it, I’d recommend deleting and retyping the text for each field by hand. Like I said, some bad characters may end up in there.
- Add content in the Description field for your first three donation amounts.
Let me know how those changes go. Good luck.
Jonathan
Wired ImpactThanks for reaching out Jay. Can you provide us a list or screenshot of what you have for your settings? That will allow us to test it on our end.

In reply to: [Nonprofit Board Management] Remove editing permissions from Board MembersThanks a ton for posting the screenshot of your final settings Luiz. I’m sure it will help users in the future and I’m glad you were able to set it up how you wanted.

In reply to: [Nonprofit Board Management] Remove editing permissions from Board MembersHi Luiz, you can see the default capabilities by looking at http://pho.to/9SfXU.
We’ve never tested changing the capabilities in the way you’re looking to, so it might take some trial and error.
Good luck.

In reply to: [Search & Replace] Not working at allBased on the sql query that shows up it looks like the global search is only looking at the users table. At least for us that was it.
Not a problem at all. Happy to help.
Thanks for reaching out @subhi. Unfortunately, the system was built to only work with current board members, and not those that are no longer serving. You could add another role for Resigned Board Members and integrate the two together, but that would require some custom programming.
As far as only inviting some people, everyone is able to RSVP, but if you use our Event Attendance Tracking extension you can record only for folks who were actually invited to the meeting.
Last, there isn’t currently a way to create two boards without having two different websites.
I hope that’s helpful. Let us know if you have any other questions. Have a good one.

In reply to: [Search & Replace] Not working at allWe’re also having the problem where it shows no results for all of our searches, even when we search for the domain of the site specifically.

In reply to: [Simple Razoo Donations] Not seeing "thank you" page of widgetThanks for testing it out Matthew. In that case you’ll need to reach out to Razoo directly since it sounds like an issue with their widget, instead of a problem with the plugin or your website.
Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
