In reply to: [WooCommerce] Change order of shipping options showing in CartHi, I thought you would recommend I disable the Flat Rate plugin.
My problem is that I use this plugin to enable another 3 or 4 options.
So my question is, can I just remove the 2 duplicate options and continue to use the other 3?
Or should I remove all 5 and set up the other 3 in WooCommerce shipping settings?
I would need to set up Conditions to match the ones previously set up in the Flat Rate plugin.
Can this be done somewhere?
Thanks again.Chris

I have just re-named 2 of the options in Flat Rate shipping plugin o make them different to the names in WooCommerce settings. You probably already know this but now I can see that the last two options, the duplicates, are coming from the Flat Rate Shipping plugin as they show the nre names of …Freight, not …Post.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Change order of shipping options showing in CartHello,
I think I have asked the wrong question. First a little background:-
I have set 3 Flat Rate shipping options on my site, one for Express Post at $11.30 and another for Regular Post at $8.50 which cuts in for orders under $35 while the third, Free Postage, takes over from Regular Post if order value is >$35.
I want customers to see, in order, Express Post as default option, then either Free or Regular depending on value then Local Pickup last and definitely not the default.
The problem seems to be that if I enable either or both of Express and Regular/Free options, like this…
then each of these options appear 2 times on the live screen…
It is obviously picking up both the 3 items from WooComm. settings and then the Flat Rate items I set up.
But because it gives priority to the WooComm settings, it is showing them first and making the first on WooComm settings the default.
Now, if I disable Express and Regular/Free in settings, this leaves only Local pickup as an enabled option and, because priority is given to WooComm settings, it becomes default.
So, I need to find where Express $11.30 and Regular $8.50 is setup, remove them to only leave the WooCommerce settings also showing $11.30 and $8.50?
Am I on the right thinking path and where do I d this? Thanks ChrisForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Change order of shipping options showing in CartHi Sajal, Thanks for the reply and I have done what you said and it has changed the order.
But, sadly it has not fixed the issue that I have as I hoped it would.
It must be something else, I can see what the problem is but I do not know how to fix it.
Is there some way I can share a few screenshots with you or add them to this message to show you what is happening? Thanks ChrisForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [OceanWP] Do I need login detail to update free OceanWPThanks for the detailed reply Marko, that explains it all. By the way, yes she is My website developer and a good friend so trust wasn’t the issue. She’s since explained to me that it was a generic ‘give me the log in details I’ll need’ request that included themes and plugins. Thanks again Chris
Wow, that was a lot easier than I imagined! Thanks
(assuming I’ve done it correctly that is :))

p.s. I have a screenshot if that will help but I do not know how to attach it to this post. Thanks
Hello and thanks for your fast reply.
It seems that I cannot isolate this feature in Wordfence to turn it off. I have re-set theirs to be 2 attempts and I will monitor it over the next few days.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Maybellyne,
You replied to my question about a month ago but today is the first free day I have had to spend time at my computer to go through these questions so sorry for my slow reply.
You asked me to walk you through how the gallery page was build/created.
Now, I’m not really sure what you mean by this but is it enough of an answer to say ‘I used Elementor’ or do you want some other detail?
Thanks
Chris
Hi Maybellyne,
You generously replied to my question about 2 months ago but today is the first free day I have had to read through and implement your answer. Sadly, your suggestions do not seem to have made a difference. I opened Yoast Test, found the Yoast SEO section, clicked on the 3 suggested resets then did Data optimisation as suggested. After refreshing all pages ( I also quit WP and re opened it) I still have a Green Smiley inside the actual page but an Orange light on the Pages list.
