Hi,
Please take a look at this document. It covers cleaning a site with Wordfence. Remember to make a backup before deleting anything.

Hi,
Try removing your email address from Options->”Where to email alerts”. I have it blank on a test site and do not receive emails.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Do you have issues if you use Basic Caching mode? Could you post your .htaccess file here (remove any sensitive info) or email to brian at wordfence dot com.
Thanks,
BrianThanks for the follow-up. I’ll mark this as resolved.

Yes, loghuman is part of live traffic. When you disable live traffic it should go away. I’d recommend removing Wordfence and table data and reinstalling a clean version of the plugin and reconfigure with live traffic off.
Thanks!
brianHi Mike,
I’m thinking there is some issue on your end that is similar to the one frizzie55 describes. If you are receiving the test email, then Wordfence is not having an issue sending. It’s usually something blocking it at the mail server like a spam filter.
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Are you using a gmail address? Also, check to see if your email is blacklisted.

Hi Jozef,
That is a feature we offer. You can turn it on under Performance Setup->Cache Options->”The entire Falcon cache will be cleared when WordPress publishes a post you’ve scheduled to be published in future.”
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Falcon_Cache#Clear_cache_when_a_scheduled_post_is_published
If you have it enabled and it is not working, let us know and we can investigate.
Thanks!
BrianThanks for the heads-up. I’ll pass this on to the team.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
Something like a post can trigger a new version being added to cache. I double checked on a test site and all the cache files are 4 days old. Creating fresh cache files after a set period helps reduce the chance of displaying out of date content.

Hello,
First, make sure WordPress and all plugins and themes are updated. Disable any plugins that aren’t in use. Then run another scan and check the results.

Will you try disabling config cacheing in the Wordfence options? See if that helps.
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#Disable_config_caching
Thanks,
BrianThe only place in Wordfence to set an email address is in Options.

The issue would actually be with WordPress and not the Wordfence plugin. Do you have a title set for your site int the settings for WordPress?
Thanks,
BrianIf you can remove the theme entirely, then yes, try that.
Did you modify that theme or have a developer that modified the theme? If not, I’d recommend repairing the theme. Also, remove the files you found the wfcache folder. Monitor your site once it is in this state.
