Great! Thanks for sharing Jared.

Do you have a backup prior to fixing the files to restore from? Try renaming the Wordfence folder via FTP. Are there any other errors in your error log?

Hi Odinia,
I’m using Falcon on a shared host and it works great for me. Make a backup of your site first if you are concerned. I suggest doing that anyway before making a change. You can always restore to a previous working state. If you do have issues, you can always try basic caching which is compatible with many environments.

I’ll pass this on to have it looked into.

Sorry this was overlooked. I’ll pass on your suggestions and have the SSL issue investigated.

Are you logging into the site with the username “admin”? If not, then make sure there is no user on your site named “admin”. The “admin” account may be left over from the initial install. Remove the “admin” account if it is there. Run a scan to determine if your site was compromised.

Hi,
Wordfence locks out the user for the duration set in Options. The default time is 5 minutes. The block may be expiring before you look in the log. If you’re wanting to block someone permanently, you have to manually block them.
You may also want to adjust how Wordfence gets IP addresses. Here is more info:

Hi js,
Try removing the plugin and table data. Do a clean install of the plugin and make sure your site meets the tech requirements.

-Brian
Yes, that is correct. Unless you make the block permanent, the block will expire at your default block time.
If you want to make permanent, then block on the Live Traffic page and then go the “Blocked IPs” page before your block expires and make permanent.
Hope that helps,
BrianHi Peter,
Are you making the blocks permanent? How long is your block time set? 5 minutes is the default.

Hi,
You may want to try updating the theme again just to be safe but it does look like something you could ignore.

In reply to: [Wordfence Security - Firewall, Malware Scan, and Login Security] Blank siteHello,
Try removing or renaming the Wordfence folder to regain access to your site. Here’s how:
-Connect to your server using the method your normally use to upload files. Most people either use FTP or SFTP to do this.
-Remove the Wordfence directory (or folder if you prefer). If your site has the standard WordPress structure, you can do this by simply deleting the wp-content/plugins/wordfence/ directory and everything underneath it.I’d recommend that you try reinstalling and make sure you have enough memory allocated. Here are the system requirements:

Thanks!
BrianIt’s on the Options page. Do a “find” for “system configuration” and you’ll get it.

Hi,
The first place to start is this article. Also, make sure you meet the system requirements. Especially, the memory requirements.
