Hi,
I’m not familiar with European privacy laws so I don’t have a good answer for you. Are you interested in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy? If so, they are found here:
https://www.wordfence.com/terms-of-use-and-privacy-policy/
Thanks,
BrianHi,
What method are you using to backup Wordfence? Are you using Plesk’s Backup Manager or are you trying to export your settings out of Wordfence?
Thanks,
BrianHi,
Double check the system requirements. The memory requirement is very important for scans. How close does the XAMMP environment mirror your live site specs-wise?
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_system_requirements
Also, you could try setting”Maximum execution time for each scan stage” option to 20 under Options.

@halex Productions…Blocked IP’s expire after a user defined period unless the blocks are made permanent. The default time is 5 minutes. Does that answer?

Hi Mee,
Wordfence will work fine with another cacheing plugin. We do recommend only using one cacheing plugin. If you decide to use our Falcon Cache, then disable WP Super Cache.
If you choose to use another caching engine, plugin or cloud service, Wordfence will work just fine. However please note that some of our blocking features that block access to static content like country blocking, IP blocking and IP throttling may not work correctly because instead of blocking a malicious IP, they will be able to view your content as it is served from the cache. With Falcon Engine we have endeavored to provide a balance between security and performance, so when you enable Falcon we disable features that don’t work reliably in a cached environment, make it clear what has been disabled and ensure that other essential security features are still operational.
Thanks!
BrianHi,
Sounds like the install had issues. Try completing removing and reinstalling.

Are all of your plugins updated?

Hi,
Double check your htaccess file.
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/I_enabled_Falcon_Caching_and_my_site_errors_out._What_went_wrong%3F
Gzip is usually part of another plugin. Are you running many plugins? If possible, you could disable all plugins and see how Falcon performs. Then re-enable one plugin at a time to try and isolate the incompatibility.
Your site looked good to me…no characters. I really want to visit the Bahamas now 🙂

Hi all,
Have you all checked you WordPress users table? On a personal site, I experienced a hack where a new user was created and had to delete the user out of the table.
If a new user has been created, you’ll want to update all themes and plugins.
https://www.wordfence.com/docs/how-to-clean-a-hacked-wordpress-site-using-wordfence/
Tips from WordPress Codex:
https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked-Brian
We get them from the WordPress repository.
Had you just updated to a newer version of the plugin in question? Sometimes developers update their plugin and forget to update the version number or they just keep the current version number with updates added. That would cause a mismatch on a scan.
Try changing how Wordfence gets IP’s.
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#How_does_Wordfence_get_IPs
Ok. Was it working at some point or was this a new install?
I’d recommend removing the plugin and table data and then reinstalling the plugin again.

I’m double-checking on this for you. Stand-by.

You could try changing how Wordfence gets IP addresses.
http://docs.wordfence.com/en/Wordfence_options#How_does_Wordfence_get_IPs
Let me know if that helps.

Hi,
The cache on that table clears every 24 hours. You should start seeing IP’s again once it does. If you are you comfortable using phpMyAdmin and have a backup you could try deleting everything in wp_wfLocs. Doing so will cause the table to recache. Again, make sure to make a backup if that’s the route you want to try.
