OMG, you’re kidding. Thank you for posting!!
I had sent an email to Cart66 support, asking if they were going to add Paypal Adaptive (chained) Payments?
They responded (the next day, Aug 13): “We don’t currently have any plans to add this gateway.”
Back to marketpress…

In reply to: Do all sellers need approval from Paypal to sell via Marketpress? Are you sure?
With chained payments, a super admin is offering the chance to sell their products via their own multisite websites.
So the question is: Do the multisite admins need specific Paypal sandbox approval?

In reply to: [VoucherPress] [Plugin: VoucherPress] Plugin Not Sending EmailsI don’t know if you’re still dealing with this issue, but FWIW, the plugin works well in an updated WordPress installation (I just wish it worked automatically with cart66 and marketpress).
Like any other WordPress plugin problem: Try disabling and re-enabling the plugin. If that doesn’t work, try disabling your other plugins to see if there is a conflict there. Finally, switch to a default theme (e.g., 2011), to see if the problem lies with the theme itself.

In reply to: What type of users are site creators? Thanks for your response.
I meant, are they subscribers, editors, etc?
I’ve found user role editors, so that’s why I’m asking the question. But what I’d really like to do is limit what areas of the admin menu they can access. Is there a better way to handle that than limiting user roles?

Cool. I fail.
For others searching for this answer: yes, marketpress (costs money) and marketpress lite (free) — which are also known as the “ecommerce plugin” on wpmudev.org — does allow for the plugin to be used as only a catalog (minus the cart portion). To make that change, a single box is checked (switching Yes and No options), when installing/configuring your plugin.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] complete scamI’m sorry, but many users report similar experiences to Gekido.
Please stop blaming the victims.
I seriously damaged a great relationship with a client over their products.
Gekido, you might want to check out Cart 66. Works good so far; fingers crossed.

In reply to: WP forgetting admin passwords repeatedlyStill having the same problem. What would cause the WordPress databases to keep overwriting/deleting the passwords? Or is there another issue?

In reply to: Where do I modify my site title?!FWIW, be sure you clicked to save the settings and Shift+Reload the site in your browser.
If that really doesn’t work, and you want to try annapootle’s suggestion, if your web host uses cpanel, you would go to:
cpanel > databases > phpMyAdmin > click the name of your database at left, top > Click the “browse” icon immediately to the right of wp_options > on 2nd line, where optionname is “blogname”, click the pencil at left > change the name of your blog in the text area > immediately below, at right, click the small “Go” button > it will go back to the page from before, and just check that the blogname is now what you wanted >go check your site on the web, remembering to refresh your cache (shift+reload/refresh in your browser)
Good luck!
