I did select to display the title and excerpts and they were showing up before I upgraded. Then after the upgrade I check that I had specified to display excerpts and they weren’t showing up.
As far as the date goes… instead of F jS, Y I had changed it to F Y. This worked before the upgrade. After the upgrade I reset this to F Y but the day was still showing up. It’s as if the plugin wasn’t checking what I had manually specified.

I switched to http://webgeeksolution.com/156/wgs-twitter-feeds/. It was easy to implement and worked right out of the box.

They have the company facebook page associated with their personal account. So now when they edit a post from the blog, they have the dropdown to choose which facebook page to publish to. However, they have employees posting these sometimes and don’t really want to allow the employees to post from the blog to the boss’ personal facebook wall. Is there a way to limit facebook access to only one of those pages and not all of them? If not, might this be a feature to come?

However, I could only use it in one widget so I put it on the home page (I have a different sidebar on the home page than on the secondary pages). I really wanted it on all pages, but could not find what I needed.
Good luck!I ended up just using the built in category pages then customizing the template with conditional statements to display different content for each category. Not the way I would have preferred, but in the end it worked.
Having followed all of these documentation links, I still don’t see where there is an explanation on how to display by category.
Can someone please post the instructions on how to update a page template to include just one category?
Seems like there’s a need for this.
Yes, I have a similar issue. I would like to add the widget to more than one sidebar as my site has several page templates, but it’s only available once. Any work around for this?

I never received any support from the author and don’t expect to. I’ve read many threads with no author response in recent months. So, if you can get it to function for you as it is, it’s a pretty nifty plugin. If not, you might want to look else where.
However, I did get this plugin to work and am happy with its functionality now. I did see in another thread that if you empty out the boxes on the right for each field in the application, then it works. I had my popup messages in there for the required fields such as “Oops, you forgot to give us your email address”. I took those out. The software still (somewhat) handles error messages for the required fields. It gave me a popup and lists all of the required (and not filled out) messages except my first, which happened to be a first name. Try this and then do some testing.
