In reply to: how do I change image url's after site migrationI’m thinking perhaps I didn’t explain my problem. What I need to change are the url’s to the images within all of the posts. They refer to the old site with the redirect. So, now when I look at a post on the new site, I just see the alt tags. I need them to now refer to the new site. Is there a way to change all of these without manually going in and editing all of the old posts?
I would like to accomplish the same thing. Did you find a way to do this? I’ve seen it done on sites using this plugin, but don’t see the documentation anywhere to guide me through the process.
Does anyone have any ideas on this or can anyone direct me to the appropriate documentation? I didn’t see anything on the contact 7 form web site http://contactform7.com/faq/ in either the faq’s, docs, tutorials or tips. Is there any known documentation anywhere else?
I know this can be done, but I’m just not sure how to link the dropdown fields.

In reply to: identify database locations before migrate to new installationIt looks as though both wordpress sites (with different addon url’s) are using the same database. I assume this will make my work easier. Is there anything I should be aware of with this?
Thanks for the reply Esmi. Would this solution allow one to access the site without a redirect? That is can the url still be http://www.website.com and not http://www.website.com/wordpress?
I have deactivated and deleted the entire plugin. Checked the database to delete the associated tables and they weren’t there. I then re-uploaded the new “beta” version of the plugin, activated it and still got the same error. I then verified that there again were no database tables created.
Does anyone know what my cause such a thing? Or better yet…. what I can do about it?
Please!
Alex,
I’m still getting “Please update the database of NextGEN Gallery. Click here to proceed.” when I activate the plugin. I assume there is something there in the database from the previous version. Any ideas?
OK. I’ve spent many hours reading posts on this issue and trying several suggestion fixes to no avail.
This is a new nextgen gallery install so no previous galleries or tables to worry about. This is a new (and very limited) site.
Can someone please post step by step instructions for a fix when you get this error on a new install on a new site? I’ve used nextgen on several other sites with no problem. I would really like to be able to use it on this site as well.
Thanks in advance!!
Hmm. Having the same problem.
I’ve used nextgen on several sites with no problem. I’m not sure what I did wrong here. I’m using the most recent version with simple install and activation and I get the error.
I am not comfortable messing with Please install.php nor config. Is there a problem with 1.6.2 or did I just mess up somehow?
For anyone who might need to do this in the future, I was able to do this with lightbox plus plugin and the following code.
I just had one setting wrong in my options. I solved it this way:
Gallery > Options > Gallery Tab
for “Show First” I needed to check “thumbnails” instead of “slideshow”.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: all links broken when use permalinksSamboll, Thanks so much!
I had to create a new .htaccess file after I rebuilt the permalinks, but then everything worked like a charm, including my feed!!

In reply to: RSS Feed not showing posts.I’ve got a similar problem. New site http://yellowstonerivercouncil.org/news/ will eventually be moved to the root directory. For now I’m trying to set up a feed for this blog on their web site. However, from what I am reading, I should be able to access the feed here. http://yellowstonerivercouncil.org/news/feed/ Although I get nothing. We are currently on the default theme and no plugins are installed as of yet. It really could not be a more simple site at this point. I’ve read post after post and although problems sound similar, their solutions don’t seem to affect my problem.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
