We’re sorry for not responding in a timely bound fashion.
I’ve had a quick conversation with our development team about the prompt to authenticate.
They said that the password alert being asked seems to coming from the server security system and we do not ask for authentication as shown in the screenshot (for Email Subscribers or our other plugins).
We request you to consult with your webhost and let us know if you need any additional information. We’ll be happy to assist you.

Your CSV file has several contacts with special characters in them and Email Subscribers reject such CSV files.
We have recently included special characters and fixed several issues related to Import Contacts in our upcoming Email Subscribers 4.4.7 which will be out in a couple of days.
We will get back to you as soon as we release ES 4.4.7v.

I’m sorry for not being specific.
We need to look at the CSV file as a single empty line or a special character can throw an error.
Can you please upload to a file sharing service like Google Drive and send it to us through the contact form?

Yes! I did add notes about this in the bug report.
Our developers did already resolve issues related to several usecases and will be releasing the bug fix in our next update.

If you are not comfortable to share the full CSV file with us, please create a fresh CSV with a few contacts in the same format and attach the file in your next response. We will see what’s going on.

VPS is the best option and you shouldn’t be having issues with 650 subscribers. You can increase the limit to much higher (maximum number of emails sent per hour) as you use VPS.
Could you speak to the webhost and see what is going on? Also, please consider changing the mailer to SMTP (under Email Subscribers > Settings > Email Sending) for better deliverability.

Are you receiving other emails (like password reset or user registration) from the WordPress setup? What happens when you send a test email?To send a test email,
1) Navigate to Email Subscribers > Settings > Email Sending
2) Enter any email address you have access to and click Send Email
3) See the status and check your inboxPlease let us know whether you received the email.

– Are you using a shared hosting server or a dedicated mail server?
– How many subscribers do you have in each list and overall in all lists?
– How often do you send emails?
