@nicola I may have installed via WordPress plugin repository the first time. However, when the upgrade broke the site, I removed the plugin folder to disable and then downloaded a fresh copy of the Standard version from your site. That is what is currently running. This happened on two sites and both Standard installations are being prompted to upgrade (which I’m now ignoring).
I have WordPress 3.7 and Standard calendar which works (except for strange 404s showing up in log) as long as I ignore upgrade.
Hmmm, ironically I was glad to see the update because it looked like it might take care of the 404 issue I’m seeing. However, you seem to say the update is not for the Standard version.
I currently have the Standard version installed on both sites and I’m getting prompted to do the update:
All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely
You have version 1.10.1-standard installed. Update to 1.10.3. View version 1.10.3 details.I was prompted to upgrade to upgrade to 1.10.3 and it broke the site. I deleted it and installed 1.10.1 Standard. This works but I’m getting a bunch of 404 errors.
I just started using Time.ly recently on two sites for clients and have been considering purchasing the Pro version. Not so sure about that based on what I’m seeing in the forums unfortunately.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Not compatible with new Pro Themes? Thanks, it must be a plugin conflict even though the only change I made was installing the new theme.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Not compatible with new Pro Themes? The reason I wondered if we were discussing two different products is that the widget I’m using only has one setting which applies to all the icons. I got the impression the widget being discussed had different settings for each icon. Perhaps it is different instances of the same widget.
Here are examples of my sites where the plugin is working fine:

http://www.bikewalkgreenville.org/This is the one where changes to the settings do not get applied since I installed the new HTML5 version of the Going Green theme:

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Not compatible with new Pro Themes? It sounds like we may be discussing two different products. I don’t have the Minimum Pro theme. It sounds like it has a different social icon function than the Simple Social Icons plugin I’m using.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Not compatible with new Pro Themes? Thanks, John. I’m not sure what you mean about “same settings on all” your icons. I’m using the background and hover color settings inside the widget which had been working fine before I upgraded to the new version of the theme.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Not compatible with new Pro Themes?Sorry I meant Pro version of the Genesis theme I’m using. I installed the new version of the Going Green theme and the color codes in the Simple Social Media widget stopped working. Thanks for letting me know it should not be an issue with the widget.

In reply to: [Link View] limiting link view amount?I was looking for how to limit the number of links listed too. It is such a common feature in widgets I’m surprised it isn’t included.
When using the shortcode on a page I would not be likely to want to limit the number of links. However, in the sidebar a long list would not be useful and I would likely only want 3-5 to be highlighted there.
Specific case: I’m using it to list articles in the press about our nonprofit. I have a page that displays all of the links. I also feature them in the sidebar. However, we’ve now reached the point where the number of articles is taking up too much space in the sidebar. My workaround will have to be to create two categories, one specifically for the sidebar. This will require more oversight from me. As the links age, I will have to remove them from the category I’m using for the sidebar. Being able to limit the number of links showing in the sidebar would handle this automatically.

In reply to: [Tweet Blender] Still showing "No Tweets Found"This plugin is working for me on some sites but on others I’m getting “no tweets found.” I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling as well as disabling Search API. No luck 🙁

In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Server error after WP2DB 1.5 upgradeAlthough it was this plugin I was upgrading and that was showing up in the error logs with my webhost, this plugin turned out to be the problem:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/juiz-social-post-sharer/I see the WordPress.com sites have a link to view standard site. I don’t understand why the WordPress.org version doesn’t have it 🙁
