In reply to: Dude, slow down the releases! One good reason to repeatedly release is because users are repeatedly requesting features or bug fixes 🙂
You can view the change log anytime, it’s prominently linked from the options page and the page hosted on wordpress.org, and only update when you need it. I’m doing this in my spare time. Often I only have much less than an hour, and there’s only so much you can do in that time. But I release anyway because someone is waiting for it.
Remember, this plugin is totally free of charge and you don’t have to upgrade anytime I release.
And why would you expect patience from someone called uberdose?
Yes the directory structure for downloads has been changed. Unfortunately I can’t even check in at the moment. The “most popular” statistics also shows the wrong order.

In reply to: One Click Upgrade errorI haven’t been able to produce this error on any of my hosted blogs so I don’t have a solution, sorry. I have added this to the FAQ since it seems to appear from time to time.

In reply to: Additional Post Meta Tags appear at top of pageThere is a clickable help message under that feature that says “What you enter here will be copied verbatim to your header on post pages”. It’s simply *not* meant for keywords. I don’t recommend putting the same keywords on every post and page, this can harm your site and thus there’s no option for it. Hope that helps.

I don’t know what’s causing this, there aren’t any major layout differences in the code (like suddenly many more includes). The interesting thing would be to test both 1.4.5.5 installations with an upgrade to 1.4.5.6, then we’d have the version thing sorted out.

In reply to: Problems with Homepage <title>Are you using the latest version? Can you send me a screenshot of your AIOSP options? Are you using a self-crafted version of your homepage? Are you using a static page setup? If yes please send a screen of that setup too. You’ll find my email on the AIOSP main post.

In reply to: Version Number in HTMLHi Zac, I don’t think I will leave the version out because it helps me tremendously in diagnosing problems (which I do every day). And there has never been any security problem I’m aware of. So the benefits outweigh the drawbacks IMHO.
If there is a loop hole in a web application you don’t care very much for the exact version anyway since it’s so easy to just probe it automatically.

In reply to: Can’t Activate Fatal ErrorHi Kathleen,
you’re not the only one with this problem but I need a real error message. Do you have access to your error log? The main problem is that on my blogs everything works find so I’m blind here.

In reply to: Options Error after Fresh All In One SEO InstallYes it is fixed in 1.4.5. There are some PHP versions that get confused by commented PHP end delimiters 🙁

In reply to: would be nice if it was collapsable in post areaYes I tried to imitate the other WP options but so far no luck. Will try harder 🙂
I don’t see a way to fix that with on page factors. And it’s not caused by AIOSP.

In reply to: Holy Updates [Plugin: All in one SEO pack]I don’t get it.
What’s the point of writing open source software if you don’t release it? I strongly believe in releasing early and often, and I do that as often as possible. You are satisfied because you get your features. And I feel good because it’s fun.
And what is that about my “attitude here”? Whom did I offend?
