Thanks for this @badr2020 I’ve tried installing most of the same plugins and tried to reproduce the issue but couldn’t yet.
I have added a new system check which will be available in the next version so it’s more easy to find the root cause hopefully (added the change in https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/commit/a38e00108255409bb18bf2b88fa2865050ab9419#diff-ca76420ccf40e7866f7032f87693bb2dR18-R454)
It seems like Geolocation is likely set up correctly.
> all visitors IP are same the country server IP [91.234.0.0], my vps server is fresh installed.
Are you saying all visitors are logged with the IP of your server? Is your server based on Russia maybe?
BTW just in case you can do it: It might also help to temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Matomo and then try it again. Just in case it is caused by some other plugin. I do fully understand though that this might not always be possible.
Thanks @beunoit
We have received the report. We tried to replicate your system but could not find an issue yet. I could only install 18 out of 40 plugins thought because many of them aren’t available on the WordPress Plugins directory.
Could you try configuring a report “HTML” and in “Display options” select “Display tables only (no graphs)”. Does it work then?
In general the original issue you reported regarding failed to load HTML file seems to be indeed some kind of browser issue where your browser is blocking to load the file (eg an ad blocker, or a browser named “brave” or something similar) since it works in Edge.
Now the problem seems to be some emails don’t arrive. They arrive for CSV, but the PDF and HTML doesn’t arrive (also not in spam folder?).
> This is a message in Mime Format. If you see this, your mail reader does not support this format.
Do you mind letting me know which email client you use? I was under the impression that most email clients would support mime.
Do you mind letting us know which country it should have detected for you?
Could you maybe also send us your Matomo System Report see https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/ ? Either by commenting the report here (it should be anonymised) or sending us an email to wordpress at matomo.org
Hi @badr2020
do you mind letting us know a bit more regarding what exactly you meant with them not displaying correctly? Is it showing the wrong country?
Glad it works now @masidus I will have a look to see what could potentially have caused this in the first place.
I’ve had a look at your system report and it seems to be a problem with the woo coupon plugin. You can ignore this log but ideally would you be able to let the plugin developers of that plugin know about this error so they can fix it?
Undefined index: REQUEST_METHOD in $ABSPATH/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-auto-added-coupons/includes/plugins/WJECF_Debug.php:180I’m otherwise happy to create a support issue on their plugin for you.
Great to hear you enjoy the plugin. If you don’t mind be great to give us a review so hopefully it helps convincing more users to not rely on GA and FA 🙂 https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/matomo/reviews/
Hi @masidus sorry about this. I’ll do my best so we can hopefully get things sorted and working for you. Do you mind maybe sending us your system report? Either as a comment in this post (the report should be anonymised) or to our email: wordpress at matomo.org ? Here’s a link that shows you how to get the report:
https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/
Is this only in the ecommerce and visits log but not in any other report?
whenever I select a date past or including 11/04/2020
Does it work for any date? I suppose this was maybe on 12/04/2020 and that date worked maybe? Or no date works?
I’ve installed the same plugins and things worked fine for me. So it might not be plugin related but maybe rather server related.
I noticed this in the system report:
> Warning archive_errors: 2020-04-09 09:12:34 (‘Got invalid response from API request: ?module=API&method=API.get&idSite=1&period=day&date=last7&format=php&trigger=archivephp. The response was empty. This usually means a server error. A solution to this error is generally to increase the value of \’memory_limit\’ in your php.ini file. For more information and the error message please check in your PHP CLI error log file. As this core:archive command triggers PHP processes over the CLI, you can find where PHP CLI logs are stored by running this command: php -i | grep error_log’ ‘Empty or invalid response \’\’ for website id 1, Time elapsed: 16.999s, skipping’ ‘2 total errors during this script execution, please investigate and try and fix these errors
@hamchimpeng not sure how technical you are. Do you maybe know where to find a PHP error log if that’s possible with your hoster? Or maybe it helps to [enable WP_DEBUG](https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/i-have-a-problem-how-do-i-troubleshoot-and-enable-wp_debug/) to get more information?
It says in the text a solution could be to increase memory but usually 256MB is enough in most cases unless you maybe have a lot of traffic or for example many different page URLs.
Do you know if this used to work? I mean up to 4 days ago, could you see data in your reports when you go eg to “Matomo -> Summary” in the WP Admin dashboard?
Thanks @hamchimpeng we have received your mail and will have a look now and try to reproduce it. Sorry it took a while because of the long easter weekend.
@beunoit could you send us your system report either by email to wordpress at matomo.org or copy/paste it here? Here’s how to get the report: https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/
Are you using a particular plugin or service for sending emails from your WordPress?
@thegulshankumar Be great to know where you find Matomo slow and how “slow” it is. In case you don’t use the plugin anymore, be great to let us know as well.
Thanks @starmansk very much appreciated.
we have fixed this and the fix will be included in the next update.
The system report be great @hamchimpeng Feel free to post it here or email us at wordpress at matomo.org
Thanks a lot.
Do you know which webserver your WordPress is using? Eg Apache, Nginx, or similar?
Likely something in your browser seems to reject loading an HTML file. Is there maybe some browser extension activated similar to an ad blocker? Like a tracking blocker, or something?
Is a particular page or report very slow? Eg when you go to “Matomo => Summary” or some reports in the reporting page? Also can you maybe quantify how “slow” it is? Like how long does it take to load that specific part? Be great to let us know so we can maybe understand things better.
