As I checked, there is a CSS rule (from your theme) which is override our widget’s CSS rules. (and every other content in it…) This is the reason of the weird appearance.

Let’s see the solutions (only one of them is enough):
A) Try to remove the general rules from your theme. This line is the cause of the problem:
#et-boc .et-l div { ... padding:0px; maring:0px; ...} This line should be more specific. This is the ultimate solution.

B) If you can add custom CSS to your theme, please add this:
.ti-widget.ti-goog .ti-review-item { padding: 0 8px !important; margin: 0px !important}

The widgets are fully responsive in the free mode, as well. I think it is caused by your design template/theme. You should add the code of the widget into a box, which is appropriately sized. Our widget will expand as long as it has space and your template does not fix the size.
So if you mark a properly sized box and insert into it, it will work nicely.

But show me your example and I can check the problem and suggest a solution.

When you check/uncheck the “Hide review without comments”, you should click the “Save and get the code” option. (If you previously inserted the code into your site, you have no further steps…)
