@optimizingmatters said right… The problem is about the nonce (+ cache plugin). It is a security feature and your cache plugin (WP Super Cache) saves it, so (in the background processes) it will not have the actual value, but the old (cached) one…

Some solution:
– do not use cache on that page
– Maybe WP Super Cache will provide a solution for that later… But the problem persist in other plugin’s cases as well (ie.:https://wordpress.org/support/topic/invalid-nonce-error-in-login-register-page/page/2/), so …
– WP Rocket is an other cache plugin, and it can solve this for you: https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/975-nonces-and-cache-lifespan
– Our next version of the plugin will have an option, where you can switch off that nonce feature. Wait for the v7.3 ( it will arrive in 10 business days )
