Root really shouldn’t be used as the user in your config files. Root should be reserved for admin tasks in MySQL. Try adding another user to the database and edit your wp-config file with the new user you created and attached to the database. Be sure to assign the user “All Privileges”

After you downlaod WordPress you need to upload the files to your web hosting account and then finish the installation process. You do not install WordPress on your local computer. I hope this helps!

When did you change the nameservers? IT may still be propagating which can take up to 24 hours. Also, clear your web browser cache. I hope this helps!
