downloaded but not working

    Hi all, hope you can solve this, but sounds so technical to me, here goes…
    Downloaded wordpress, then when i click onto file i get a list as follows.-
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes
    index
    licsence

    and so forth.

    where do i go from here please?

    Hi Tony2sugars, you need to have a hosting account to use WordPress. After you downlaod WordPress you need to upload the files to your web hosting account and then finish the installation process. You do not install WordPress on your local computer. I hope this helps!
