In reply to: Website works, "Pages" do notThat’s a 500 error. I’d suggest looking at your file permissions first. Make sure they are set correctly. If that doesn’t work take a look at your servers error logs to determine the exact error causing it.
Try renaming your htaccess file to .htaccess.old and see if that corrects the issue. It sounds as if you have a redirect set up from the old installation. I hope this helps!

Yes, if you’re going to set up to completely separate blogs, you’ll need two installations of WordPress, unless you plan on setting up a network.
WordPress is a great solution to manage your entire website. I use it frequently to build sites, not just blogs.
