In reply to: [Contact Form 7] File upload doesn’t workOkay, the tag for the file obviously belongs in the field for file attachments. My mistake. Thanks.

In reply to: Group blocks differentlyHello, bcworkz,
thank you for your answer.
I’ve now solved the problem.
When combining the three blocks into Mail/RSS/Posts, I moved one block from the top section down to the bottom. It ended up in the middle of the block, but I simply copied and pasted the content back and forth manually until the layout looked the way I wanted it to.
As for the separator, I identified the CSS class of the relevant block in the source code and added a
margin-topto give the block more space from the block above it, thereby highlighting the dark gray separator.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Hestia] Configuring the Website TitleThanks. That helps a little.

In reply to: [Hestia] Configuring the Website TitleHello,
currently, the options for configuring the header—including the website title and subtitle above the navigation bar—are very limited. The size of an embedded logo is restricted, and even a large logo uploaded as an image is scaled down.
I experimented a bit with the title of the website in question, [ redundant link deleted ], to achieve a reasonably satisfactory result.
The title and subtitle should be able to be placed in the center of the page header on this version of the website [ redundant link deleted ], using an even larger font size.
This is currently not possible; it is a feature request.

In reply to: [Sydney] Sticky menuHello, it is now functioning.
I did not place the primary menu in the main row, but rather in the bottom row.
I selected the latter and then set the background color of the sticky menu to white via Header –> Style.

In reply to: [Sydney] Sticky menuHello Kenneth,
unfortunately, neither of the suggested solutions works.
Neither via the setting in the header in the customizer nor with the CSS code.
I’m attaching a screenshot; the background of the sticky menu is still transparent.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] LikeI have solved the problem.
It occurred to me that the read more function is provided by the Sydney theme. So this is not included in the Jetpack language files.
I have now copied the language files for unformal German from the existing WP installation to the other WP installation.
Now the “Read more” button is correctly translated into “Weiterlesen”.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] LikeThe website only contained the translated formal German files from Jetpack.
I have now switched to unformal German, which translates the Like text.
But even if I copy the translated unformal German files from Jetpack from another WP installation into the existing one, “Read more” is not translated.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] LikeNow it works. I don’t know why. But only with unformal German. Formal German is not translated.
But now I have the problem that with unformal German and translated “Like” text, the text for “Read more” is no longer translated into “Weiterlesen”, but remains in English.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] LikeThat does not work. I have set the language to German in the settings.
I have deleted the Safari cache. And refreshed the website. And even reopened it in a new tab.
I also reopened the website in Firefox and Chrome.
No translation into German.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] „Like“-ButtonI use the Sydney theme, I don’t know if this is one of the block themes. I also want to have the Like button positioned automatically in every post and not insert it manually via a block. The settings for the Like button are exactly as described in the Jetpack documentation, activation under “Share” and also activation under “Marketing”.
I also installed the aforementioned translation plugin as a test, but the text still remains untranslated.
I have already installed the additional Jetpack German plugin, so why is the English text not translated automatically?
