But I have to add the code for comments and author in the functions.php of the child theme.
This I have now done. And the changes are applied in the frontend! Now at least I don’t have to make these changes every time I update the parent theme.

Do I need to paste the above code, in this case for the comments, from the template-tags.php file into the functions.php file in the child theme so that it is then also copied to the parent theme?

One with Full Page Protection and one with Customer Messages. The former lets logged in members to the event pages, but blocks the permalinks of an anonymous visitor to the site. And with the second one I can customize the error message in the process. But thanks for your help anyway.

a colleague of mine has already recommended the Redirection plugin to me.
Unfortunately, I can’t find an option in its settings that configured redirections are not always carried out, but only for visitors who are not logged in. The registered visitors should come to the event pages.

thank you for your help and the links.
I don’t want to install a paid plugin for the protection.
I yet use the plugin Simple WordPress Membership that works fine and that have the possibility to protect created pages so that only logged in users can see these pages in the frontend.
Because the /events page is an archive page I can’t edit it. And the page with the slug /single-event doesn’t work together with the membership plugin so I can’t protect it.
So I need only a protection for this two slugs or a redirection for non logged in users.

this is a bug in the Sydney theme. When I pointed it out to the developer on the forum, he stopped responding.
You can’t change this in a child theme. It will not be adopted.
I have helped myself with this: Choose in the theme editor the mother theme, then the style.css, there “inc” and then the template-tags.php.
There you can change or delete the entry in line 132. This will be copied to the theme and thus to the frontend.
Shortcoming: After each update of the mother theme you have to change the PHP file again.

I do not use Google Ads.
I have also not installed a plugin for Google Ads.
I can’t find any reference to Google Ads anywhere, neither in the integrations, nor when I run the whole wizard to generate the Complianz banner, and thus a way to disable them.

no, it is not Mediavine. But about TheMoneytizer.
I have received a message from their support that I can use a different content banner. That this is possibly not supported by TheMoneytizer and then no advertising is displayed.
But I can’t imagine that. TheMoneytizer has over 80,000 customers according to their own statements. I can not imagine that every customer necessarily uses the banner of TheMoneytizer, but has chosen its own plugins and this still works together with the advertising.

I had temporarily, in order to generate some ad revenue, enabled the Consent banner of the service provider of the ads and disabled Complianz.
In doing so, the ads are also correctly displayed at the bottom right of the food blog footer in the sidebar.
I have now deactivated this banner and activated Complianz.
Now no more advertisements appear.
