Hi @culverlau,
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to refer to what you wrote and we hope that you will change our product rating, however, because the WP rating should refer to the product itself, not the paid version of support. We strongly believe, we did not deserve for one-star rating. As You wrote it yourself “The plugin was great while it lasted”.
We sell our plugin in the pro version in options:
- – Single site license $39
- – Multi site license $99
- – Mega license $199
The $39 Single site license option is for the end users, not for developers. The option Multisite license is intended for developers & agencies. The option name clearly indicates the license for one domain, also, there was an entry on our site that clearly stated how we license the plugin https://themastercut.co/do-i-have-to-license-localhost-and-the-actual-server/
It has not yet happened that when the client wrote to us with a request to transfer the license, we refused.
We always transferred the license to another domain when the client asked for it. In your case it was the same, we’ve transferred the license to your clientβs domain with no extra charge.Licensing system.
We have planned for a long time to change the licensing system so that it would be more convenient for developers, i.e. everyone could easily (by themselves) transfer the license. Unfortunately, due to the lack of time, we could not do it. At that time we preferred to focus on writing better Revision Manager TMC code.In fact, during the period you wrote to us, we had a slower response time ( we do apologize ). Unfortunately, we had a problem with email hosting and we were simultaneously working on a new license system allowing for a free transfer of licenses.
Yesterday we launched a new system that allows you to move the key license to another website domain by your self. We invite you to re-register on our site so that we can assign you a new license key. Details can be found here https://themastercut.co/problems-with-legacy-licenses/
We are working very hard on our plugin to make it bulletproof and user-friendly. We hope you change your mind π
Have a nice day! π

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Post Author to Approve Revision DraftHi @joshdetour! Przemek here,
Sorry for the late reply. Just to be clear it looks like a new feature if I understood correctly. So I will close the topic and put it as a future feature idea to be considered.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Pods supportHi Jay! Przemek here,
Sorry again for the late reply, thank you for reporting a broken link, I answered you in a different post.
Yes, we support in the pro version custom post types (if WP meta data are used). I assume Pods are using meta data so should work π
Have a nice day! πp.s.
Please write to us via our web and we will try to help in the test.β

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Revision image changes not showing on live site.Hello, sorry to hear you have some issues on your website.
If everything shows up perfectly on backend, the issue is always connected with cache/transient API.If you are using some kind of website booster or any caching solution, just clear it.
What I mean is Revision Manager TMC is a database solution. If new data is not showing on front-end, something else is causing you trouble.
You can also e-mail us, so we will be able to help you directly.
Remmeber to describe your problem in the message.Best regards!

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] StatisticsThere will not be such a thing like “merging stats”.
Duplicated post doesn’t go live, it doesn’t collect any new stats. After acceptation, our merging mechanism just replaces content, metadata, taxonomies, etc. Jetpack stores stats on its own. We do not touch it π

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] StatisticsHello, sorry for delayed response.
As we know, JetPack stats are not stored inside your WordPress database.
Old post always stays untouched until revision is accepted.
Revision can not be visited, so you don’t have to merge stats from both posts.Yes, this plugin fits your needs perfectly.
Please let us know, if there is something we can improve.Best regards π

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] StatisticsHello @christytucker, Jacob here π
It depends on what type of mechanism you are using.
If it is based on storing in metadata, it will be moved into original one.
If this is stored outside of post meta, there is nothing to worry about. Also, this is a good idea for us, to add metadata filtering option in the future.
Please give us more information about your environment.
Best regards, Jacob π

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Post Author to Approve Revision DraftHi @joshdetour! Przemek here,
according to what you wrote, WordPress is based on the so-called “capability”, so a person/author who has enabled enabling publishing will also be able to see other people’s posts. Ad. the second thing (to consider for the future), we could add a feature that would allow only those posts to be reviewed by the people who created them – if I understood correctly what you wrote above.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Conflict with JetPack RelatedPosts@drtimofey We are glad everything works fine π
There is a purpose of leaving revision behind.
Our priority is to make the most bullet-proof mechanism on the market.
As you can see, we support many possibilities of using Revision Manager, for example with front-end page builders. If the post was simply removed while merging, some things could break in WordPress environment, for example other plugin, which detects status update actions.
There is old revison cleaner built-in our plugin.
Just go to Admin Dashboard and click button called “Delete [number] revisions”. It will clean up your database πMaybe this is a good idea to create some kind of automatic cleaner in next release, what do you think?
Hope it solves your problem.
Please, tell us, if there is anything you need help with.Forum: Plugins
