In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Default revision from frontend editHi @rahulsatija! Przemek here,
Please, let me understand your question better. Do you want to know what the revision mechanism in our plugin looks like?
In a nutshell:
( 1 ) We create a copy of the post (a person with specific capabilities / person entitled)
( 2 ) Then we merge posts (a person with certain capabilities / a person entitled)Referring to “My requirements” please give us a moment, I am not sure if it would be possible. What kind of front end editor / solution do you use on your website?
I want to be sure that the process looks as follows (please confirm / correct)
( 1 ) The author created a post
( 2 ) Admin / Editor (authorized) published it
( 3 ) Then the Author (with permission to create revisions) edits the post from the front end editor of the post and sends to admin review.
( 4 ) Admin / Editor (the person authorized to accept) in the WordPress backend checks the revisions, seeing the changes made by the author and has the ability to publish new content / changes.–

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] scheduled revision not posting in futureHi Dave!
Przemek here!As we promised, we just made a plugin update. We’ve added a new feature. Please go to the plugin setting page and find “Merging” section. There you can manage the date option after merging the post.
Please write if it works for you?
Have a great day!

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] scheduled revision not posting in futureHi Dave!
Przemek here! You’re welcome! Thanks for clarifying the problem. We have checked this and it, and it looks like it is not a plugin bug ;), but a designed action.
This is protection in a situation where a person (site owner) who has many old posts, would like to ask someone to just to make some small updates / correct some mistakes and don’t wont to change post date.
However, we think that this is a good opportunity to add such a feature in Revision Manager TMC, where you can specify whether merged posts are to have a new date or keep the old one.
Will you like this solution?
We could throw this feature into the next update. The update would be on Friday (this week) or Monday (next week). Will it be ok?

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] scheduled revision not posting in futureHi Dave!
Przemek here,WordPress in 4.9.10 is very old version ;), but let us understand better the process:
( 1 ) You are both admins
( 2 ) You are creating a new revision draft
( 3 ) You are setting post status to “future”
( 4 ) You are setting post status to “publish”?
( 5 ) Your posts are not merging? Not visible on the front? Are you using Guttenberg or Classic editor?

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Conflicts with Yoast SEO pluginHi @drtimofey!
Przemek here,Thanks for reaching out! We believe it is a problem with Yoast plugin because w don’t use JS in Revision Manager TMC,
About 3 months ago we have built a new website for the customer and he asked us to install Yoast plugin ( which is quite very popular ) and unfortunately, Yoast crashed some pages on wp backend. I belive now they solved the problem.
I think at the beginning I would try to make a copy of the post using a different tool like https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/. I suspect that changing post status ( draft/pending ) can be wrong handled.
Try and please let us know what happened.

In reply to: [Revision Manager TMC] Accept Revision on Scheduled Update?Hello again, sorry for delay in response. 🙂
If we understand correctly, you clone page to draft and change its publish date to future. It’s also important if you are using gutenberg or classic editor flow, as in current state gutenberg posts can only be accepted from posts list table button “Accept revision”, due to bug in asynchronous save_post hooking flow.
If you are using the newest version of WordPress, we recommend to use classic editor for maximum stability.
Check link below:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/It will bring back “schedule” button in editor view.
Stay tuned 🙂
