    Hi @rahulsatija! Przemek here,

Please, let me understand your question better. Do you want to know what the revision mechanism in our plugin looks like?

    In a nutshell:
( 1 ) We create a copy of the post (a person with specific capabilities / person entitled)
( 2 ) Then we merge posts (a person with certain capabilities / a person entitled)

Referring to “My requirements” please give us a moment, I am not sure if it would be possible. What kind of front end editor / solution do you use on your website?

I want to be sure that the process looks as follows (please confirm / correct)

    ( 1 ) The author created a post
    ( 2 ) Admin / Editor (authorized) published it
( 3 ) Then the Author (with permission to create revisions) edits the post from the front end editor of the post and sends to admin review.
( 4 ) Admin / Editor (the person authorized to accept) in the WordPress backend checks the revisions, seeing the changes made by the author and has the ability to publish new content / changes.

    Hello Przemek,

    Thanks for quick response.
I am using wcfm plugin to update my products custom post type from a frontend.

From frontend I have two options.

    1. Draft – On click of draft, post status change to draft and publish product cant be access by anyone except loggedin user.
    2. Submit – on this click changes directly reflect to product data.

My requirement is same as you mentioned in 4 steps.

Step 1. I want to edit my product from frontend.
Step 2. My original product remain published with old data till the pending approval to admin
Step 3. On approval from admin new changes reflect to product details.

    Hi @rahulsatija! Przemek here,

We checked the WCFM plugin. Our plugin works with WooCommerce in the PRO version. However, the WCFM plugin does not give you the opportunity to create a new draft / copy entry directly from their front end editor. So, if they gave such a possibility then it would be possible to create a revision draft.
