Thank you for your feedback! We are very sorry if you felt misled, it was not our intention mislead you or anyone.

“Revision Manager TMC clones your post, page or custom post type to a draft” – we strongly believe this sentence is true, because it describes Revision Manager TMC in general. We thought removing this description will misled other users, because they will think that Revision Manager TMC can’t support page’s or custom post types. But … 🙂

We will change descriptions in next release to: Revision Manager TMC clones your posts to a draft.

We try to add value in free version of Revision Manager TMC by giving a lot of free features like:
– schedule revision (free version)
– support section [system info dump for rapid environment testing] (free version)
– show differences in changes in ACF fields (free version)
– support for Gutenberg editor (free version)
– delete all revisions from database (free version)
– dashboard widget to see all prepared clones (free version)
– Choose who can receive notifications by e-mail (free version)
– Select who can review and approve revisions (free version)

In free version we support only posts not pages, because they are the are used more often. We are aware that free version does have some limitations. Revision Manager TMC has been created for over 2 years. We try to ensure that the product is bulletproof to errors and we put a lot of effort into communicating clearly with our users.

We are very grateful that you gave us the opportunity to speak before you wrote a rating.

However, we have only one request, evaluating Revision Manager TMC, please take into account not only the description of product, but also the product itself. We prefer honest feedback because thanks to it we do improve our product.

We found there are some free alternatives, which may suit your needs better:

( 1 ) Revisionize
( 2 ) Revisionary

You are very welcome ;). Please find our response below:

( 1 ) Saving a post as draft doesn’t trigger mail notification. It occures only when saving as “pending”. Please find screenshot in attachment. Also in pro version you can toggle merged notifications for whole day. This kind of notification sends only once a day.

( 2 ) Cloning mechanism keeps original post and uses core revisions functionality. Once author makes changes and saves post to draft or any post status, it is shown in revisions tab.

If you want us to take a closer look at the topic, to have more info about your environment, we need more info:
( 1 ) Please go to tab “Tools” in Revision Manager TMC & scroll down to section “System info”
( 2 ) Next click “save system info as file”
( 3 ) Send us downloaded file – service[ at ]themastercut.co

Quick basic thoughts:

• We didn’t test Visual Composer with Revision Manager TMC yet, but if this plugin is based on metadata our plugin should work fine
• I’m not sure if pasting the script tag is WYSWIG is the right way to proceed (I have, of course, limited knowledge about what you do and what you want to achieve). As a plugin we do not change the stored values.

we just updated plugin to 2.4.5 version, we have implemented the improvements in the text that you have indicated above :-). To make these changes visible in your installation you must use the plugin option “Rollback factory settings”.

We found bug, thx for help and feedback. The problem was that “the field value of the author” was not correctly retrieved. Now everything should works fine. Please update your plugin to newest version 2.4.3 and let us know how it works.

If you have any other suggestions concerning grammar and syntax please feel free to write!
