Just to say I have figured it out thanks to help elsewhere.
After deactivating Jetpack I realised this was the issue. Someone else suggested turning off Photon, which was indeed the problem – just in case anyone else has the same issue!

I don’t think I have any of those on the blog. It is so strange because I had no problem whatsoever with the share count before I migrated. Now the shares seem very sporadic but the problem is of course that I can’t prove that the posts are being shared on Facebook, I can only go by what has happened historically and knowing how well they are being shared elsewhere.
I think I might just have to chalk it up to one of those things! Thanks for your help, I appreciate it! 🙂

I finally figured out how to move my followers before seeing this, but thank you!
I have tried to import/export my media files without any luck. I really don’t want to have to re-run the export/import procedure again (had enough problems last time haha).
Thanks for the link to transfer stats. However, there is one more thing I need help with – my Facebook shares are not showing on the posts although I know many people have shared them through Facebook itself. One particular link that has been shared several times is:

You are an angel! It seems that I needed to change the permalinks from default to day and name! It worked. You wouldn’t believe how long it has taken me to get to this point and yes, I had read these instructions amongst many others!
