Hi there,
At this time I’m afraid there is not an outright way to limit RSVPs, other than limiting how many someone can choose at a time. However they can just come back and RSVP again if they wanted to. This is just not something Event Tickets can limit, without you implementing some custom code.
If you want I would encourage you to submit this as an idea or upvote it here: https://app.loopedin.io/the-events-calendar-suite-roadmap#/ideas

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Changing Text Of Find Events ButtonHi Dave,
Thank you for clarifying on the bulleted list portion, and I am glad that template worked out for you!
That portion of the event is the excerpt, and that actually strips the HTML. You can read about changing that here with this guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/tips/the-trouble-with-excerpts/
I think that should help you accomplish what you want!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only display latest of each categoryHi there,
My apologies, I should clarify, shortcodes are only available with Events Calendar Pro, so you would have to upgrade. And I simply meant that you would end up with 4 different feeds or widgets, which is not ideal but the regular widget does come with the free plugin.
And you are also correct in that there really is not a built in way that you can achieve this with just The Events Calendar, you would have to upgrade to get some of the extra features but even then this is a really unique scenario.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only display latest of each categoryHi there,
By default the calendar always wants to sort by date (Except Map view is by distance) so that part will always be set.
I was suggesting that you create 4 shortcodes each with a different category filter, because each one of those will show the closest upcoming events while filtering by the category.
Really the only other way to do this is with the Filter Bar addon so that you can set multiple filters at once. But as it stands, there is not another great way to have things ordered by date AND also have it filtered by category, so you sort of have to choose how you want this. Does that make sense?

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Add to calendar linksHi there,
I would be happy to assist you here! You can find our guide on adding these links into emails here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/adding-calendar-links-to-ticket-emails/
You should just be able to add that Snippet with a plugin or two your functions.php (I Recommend the Code Snippets Plugin) and then those options should show on the emails!
Let me know if you have questions!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Changing Text Of Find Events ButtonHey there,
Sorry you are having trouble with this! We actually have a handy Extension for Identifying templates here: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/calendar-template-inspector/
I used this on one of my test sites to find that the file you want to edit is called: the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/components/events-bar/search/submit.php
Screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/lmytOBXily2e
As for the bulleted text you asked about, in what Listing Page are you referring to? Jus the event description or something else? Please let me know!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Removing date and time from the “Events list” widgetHi there,
Normally with these widgets, you would be able to maybe hide this part with CSS, but I was not able to find the container that only had these. It almost seems like the icons are part of the images. But I also want to note that on a regular site with Elementor, this is not how they look, so they had to have been customized in some way already?
You will want to look into a PHP Template override to remove these, here is the guide on all the widgets.
Depending on the one you are using, you’ll want to find the page for that and then it should have some tips on how to edit the template.
You can let me know if you have questions!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Only display latest of each categoryHi there,
This is something you could do most likely with a widget. You can use the regular widget that comes with TEC, and just create 4 instances of that, with only 1 event and each have a different category. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/events-calendar-widgets/
If you think you want more options for widgets, you may have to look at Events Calendar Pro. Let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi @klimada
Super sorry to hear that this is still not working for you, that is really quite odd.
Would you be able to create a public facing Test Event on your site? I would like to try the process of buying a ticket to take a look at everything I guess to re-start troubleshooting. I would also like to get your System Information, you can reach me at my email, which is truman at The Events Calendar.comPlease let me know about both of these and I will do my best to assist!

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Currency Symbol not displayingThank you for letting me know, sorry I did get your email with the images. We have just been really busy with Support tickets lately.
I had a chat with one of our Developers, and as it turns out, right now Paypal does not Support South African Rand at all as a currency: https://developer.paypal.com/api/rest/reference/currency-codes/
PayPal works in South Africa but it needs to be set in USD.
We are going to be releasing our integration with Stripe for Tickets Commerce in our next release for Event Tickets, and that does support ZAR. So for now you can try to keep the setup you have, but once Stripe is ready for integration with Tickets Commerce you’ll be able to use ZAR as a currency.
Let me know if you have any questions!
