Hi Emre
That would not be really practical as there would be very many URL’s.
Is there no way of picking up and isolating a java function?
Steve
Hi Emre
I’ve just realised that the function will not work if no visitors. However if there is a casual visitor, even a bot, will this trigger wp_schedule_event to carry out a chache clear at the alloted time/schedule.
On this site: https://hiddenireland.com we have Formidable Forms and we frequently have an issue with your plugin whereby the auto date on forms is cached and then will not clear to the correct date, so forms arrive some times many days out.
I set the cache delete to 8 hours clear but for some odd reason the rule dissapeared and I’ve had to re-do it again.
The site gets lot’s of visitors, hence my question above. If the cache does not clear properly that is a problem for us and we would therefore then need to find out how to exclude this function in Formidable Forms – which would probably be a Java exclusion.
Can you advise please – you might need to move this to premium support as I have just upgraded the plugin.
Thanks
Steve B
Go to Delete Cache
Add a new TIMEOUT Rule
Select If_REQUEST_URI as All
Select the Then to how ever many mins/hours/days you want then save the rule.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Showing specific categories on a pageThe problem I am having is that I want to show certain categories, not the products from them, on the shop page.
The default setting on the shop page is to put all the categories. We don’t want that. We have categories like gift vouchers, subscriptions that we want to appear on specific pages, which we can do, BUT we want the same categories NOT to appear on the shop page, or a page we create with a short code.
We have tried:
[product_category “fiction”] or [product_category “fiction”] with commas and other category names.
We have tried:
[product_categories ids=”21, 59″] – this will only show categories that have items in them but not categories that have no item that will show “0” [zero] – how do we also show categories that do not yet have products in them?
We have tried this:
[products limit=”8″ columns=”4″ category=”fiction,non-fiction,subscriptions” cat_operator=”NOT IN”] – what this does is to show the PRODUCTS that are not in the categories but NOT the actual categories.
Please can someone advise.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Showing specific categories on a pageHi Sean
OK that works but then how do I ignore categories to show as it is easier to just exclude 1 or 2 categories than it is to list only the ones to show, especially if there are a lot of them?

Hi
I had to resort to tricks with Site Origin Page Builder. Where do I set the width maximum values in your plugin?

In reply to: [PW WooCommerce Gift Cards] Sending MethodsOh. That is a weird way of handling gift cards.
Surely the purpose of a gift card, or voucher, is to buy a gift card and give it to someone as a present, or gift, so they can redeem if for something physical, not for buying something on an online store.
In our case we want to use it for people to buy gift cards for activities and when they go to the activity they hand the gift card/voucher in instead of having to pay money.
Can this methodolgy only be handled in your Pro version?
If we cannot test the functionality of the Pro version in a trial what is your refund policy? Should the plugin not prove to be suitable.
Hi There
The search is working now in Firefox and Chrome. But in Safari if I use a search term and hit the enter key nothing happens.
Cheers
Steve
I have re-activated it….
Search now does not work.
