Hi Patrick
I am playing about with your post on the recurring dates.
I could not leave the “Recurrences span from ” boxes empty EM would not let me and of course will not accept the same date in each box. So I entered 6th April to 14th April. Is that the right thing??
Steve
Hi Patrick
Referring back to your post just before mine just now.
Taking the total picture…..
The guy has 6 total locations around the UK. Each location is holding events sometimes on the same day, sometimes on differnt days.
A single event is not repeated 95 times. There are 95 different events, sometimes in the same location (Londond for example) but in different postcodes on different days.
So for example on the 6th April he is holding events in 3 locations:
06/04/2019 London NW1 Nottingham NG8 reading RG1
On each day there are 19 time slots, each of half an hour.
The next day the events are like this:
07/04/2019 London W2 Leicester LE4 reading RG1
So you can see that even though on the 7th there is an event in London it is in a different postcode. Though in Reading the event is on for 2 days in the same postcode.
So the events don’t really recure in the normal way.
I’ll see if I can work out what you are saying and try it….
I really appreciate all your help π

Hi Patrick
I must be getting confused somewhat.
I set up a recurring event and yes entered a date, which EM would not accept as it was the same day, silly me. But if I enter a date of say 6/4/19 to 7/4/19 EM shows that event as available for 2 days of course, which is not the case in the particular location.
The other problem is that the ability to search for postcodes goes, as even if events are in London, they may be at different postcodes and the recurring events solution allows a selection of locations in a drop down.
Here is an example of the events the guy has given me – note this is just a small selection:
Date Location P/Code
06/04/2019 London NW1
07/04/2019 London W2
13/04/2019 London TW10
14/04/2019 London CM16
19/04/2019 London NW1
20/04/2019 London IG7
21/04/2019 London CR4
22/04/2019 London SW4Each of those dates has 19 time slots with 5 available tickets per time slot.
What he wants is the customer to search by either date, location or postcode and also “region” within a certain radius. He also does not want a list showing on the search page and only places to come up when searched for, as mentioned in a previous post.
Clearly I am not as good at this as you are π
Steve
Also the problem is that with recurring events you cannot select a day/date and he needs to have the day/date, location, postcode and time slots showing.
Nightmare!
Steve
Thanks
He has just told me it could be up to 6 locations…..

Hi Patrick
The issue is really that there are 190 events in two locations around the UK. Each location has the availability of half hour slots between 10am and 6:30pm, with 5 availalble slots.
This is a lot of lot of lot of data entry, in essence 3,420 tickets!
As there is no import capability for Events Manager, well not that I can see all the locations have to be manually entered, ditto the tickets.
I guess it’s something I can offer the client for him to do…..
Bit of a headache really.
Steve
No we have to have time slot booking some how, a drop down or something of the avaialble time slots.
So basically Events Manager cannot do this?
Steve
Actually what I am trying to achieve with Events Manager is that one a particular day someone can buy “tickets” for time slots.
So say on the 6th April there is an event that has half hour time slots between 10am to 6:30pm that up to 5 tickets can be sold for each time slot.
I read here : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/events-manager-bookings-to-have-different-time-slots/
That the plugin support said this:
[QUOTE]
Currently EM doesnβt have an option to create events that have multiple time slots. What you could do it probably create different ticket for each time slots
[UNQUOTE]So how would I create a different ticket for a time slot then??

Ah Ha. So If I set the start date to say today and then the the end date to the date of the event that will leave it open for booking?
Steve
I am trying to get my head around how to get the formatting right so that the listing image appears as the demo page. BUT I don’t want the corresponding huge image on the events post itself, by using the featured image.
Also on the events listing if I just insert:
<td>
#_EVENTIMAGE {size,size}
</td>The image forces the line down so that the event details are dropped to the bottom of the image. How do I align the image so that the three colums are ligned up with the top of each other?
Cheers

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Responsive Not WorkingHi Tobias
In Collapse mode the web site loses the last column, which in normal mode appears.
In flip mode on a phone if a search is done for a name and there are two people with the same name the plugin says that there are two people but the user cannot scroll or move to the 2nd user.
Any help please?
Thanks

In reply to: [Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce] Orders will not importWell here is the thing!
Your import system only works if we put the date in American format! Weird when we are not in the UK and Woocommerce is set up for the UK.

Hi Michel
Yes that worked but it also added a blank line at thrid position again, whereas gtin came in correct alphabetical place.
I did download your plugin but the only drage with your plugin is that it has no ability for brand sorting, brand images and so on…..
Any ideas about the product brands from the BRocket plugin?
Cheers
