In reply to: [WP Mobile Menu - The Mobile-Friendly Responsive Menu] Plugin ConflictHi Rui
I have turned your plugin back on and created a page here in Thrive Architect, from a blank page template:
https://farnhamscouting.com/website/campsite/campsite-booking-2019/campsite-invoice/
At the bottom of the page is a HUGE site logo and also just below right of that your menu icon.
If I turn your plugin off then that HUGE logo and the menu icon go from the page.
The Thrive architect people say that it is your plugin injecting the code. Hence me contacting you.
Kind regards
Steve B

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] Search a specific page onlyThanks Ernest
Yes it is a list of events.
However the plugin does not even find results from the page. The page is here:
unicorndream.co.uk.test and there is an event for Swindon. If I search Swindon I get a nil found result…..
Steve
The PHP version is : 7.2.7
I did not install the plugin so far as it only has one review, so seems not popular.
I get the impression from the “location” names that fields from another plugin I tried “The Events Manager”, are the interfering items.
I would be keen to find out where these “locations” are in the database schema so I can potentially delete them.

Ah yes. I found the tables noe on a “page 2”.
As there are 422 pages how on earth I find the entries is beyond me!!
Steve B
You are quite right the Google font we are using is Vidaloka…..
Regarding access. Yes you are probably right that unless logged in you cannot enter event. I am not sure right now how to allow this from the front end.
Is it in the settings?
Regards
Steve B
It is in the EM settings.
Under bookings, pricing options
SMB
When I look at locations in the EM settings the list is correct. I also checked the em_locations mysql table and this is all good too, apart from some duplications.
However when I go to enter an new event and go to pick an even location from the drop down table there appear locations with names like:
Home
Events Dashboard
Search
Post an Event
Event Entry
Auto DraftAnd several more weird “locations”!
As these weird locations are not stored in the em_locations table would you know where they would be stored?
Steve B
Thanks. I cannot control the PHP version that is in the hands of my ISP.
Once the plugin is installed and activated what do I do then?
Thanks
Steve B
Hi there
The page is here:
https://unicorndream.co.uk/events/event-entry/
Also the colour of the font is at odds with the theme too.

Steve B
Thank you. Yes I did find them
Steve B
There is no wp_posts table in the database…..
Any other ideas??
Cheers

Hi Timrv
Believe me I’m with you!
However he is insistant he does not want a long list of events showing, even though I believe that it is right for the consumer to see.
Thanks for your tip.
The only thing is that the short code is fine but when a search is done it actually takes you to the events page. I suppose there is no way to avoid that?
Where can I find a list of short codes for Events Manager?
Cheers
Steve
Hi Patrick
The problem is that he has a hangup about previously he published events in public places and showed/revealed where they were.
People were turning up, not paying for the event, and just coming to take photo’s and stuff like that.
Hence he wants to hide the full list and just have a list be revealed based on a criteria search. Then get the person to book and pay for the event.
As I am not a programmer I would not know how to hide the list using jQuery or how to implement show on click search button.
Any ideas where I can find some code for this and where is should go?
Cheers
Steve
Hi Patrick
Do you know if there is a way to have the search bar appear with just the calendar?
This might suit my clients desire to not have the events list showing….
Cheers
