In reply to: [Participants Database] Combo Multi SearchThanks, that’s helpful. I was hoping for a built-in solution since my coding skills aren’t what they once were. Really all I need is to add a “search all fields” option to the regular search, where “all fields” can be defined.

In reply to: [Participants Database] Combo Multi SearchOr better yet, is there an option to enter a search term and have radio buttons so select which field(s) to search. That would accomplish the same thing with less complexity and screen space.
Pre-2.x seems to be fast, 2.x and higher are unusable in certain situations. What those situations are is beyond me.
I can’t run 2.x on any of my sites. It slows them to a crawl on any page that uses NGG. Pages take 10-20 seconds to appear.
I haven’t found a fix for it either, so I’m running an old version on my sites until I find a better plugin. It’s a shame, I really liked this one while it lasted.
Still no resolution for this and my sites are experiencing errors because of it. Large galleries fail to load at all due to database timeouts.
Same problem here. it’s terrible. Pages take forever to load.

Shame, this plugin was so close to being great.

I went to WPU–>WP usernames, found his WP account, and had WPU create a phpbb account to match. I then went back to phpbb ACP and changed his name again. This time it worked fine. I don’t know what the difference was but all is working now.
