This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.
I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.
You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the
#developerschannel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.Hi @brianmurphy,
Yes, the plugin supports the REST API and works with the WooCommerce orders endpoint.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Unable to choose catalogIt’s possible this was a temporary error connecting to the catalog.
Please try reconnecting Facebook to your site, as described here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce-how-to-re-connect/
When you reconnect, you should be able to select the catalog.

In reply to: [Eway Payments for Woo] Customer can’t payThanks @acon. You can follow along with progress resolving this bug here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/30069
For an immediate fix, you can downgrade WooCommerce. Please make a backup of your site before doing so.
To get the previous version – from the WordPress.org plugin page, under the Advanced View menu, you can download previous versions of WooCommerce. Scroll to the bottom of the Advanced View (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/) page and in the dropdown select your preferred previous version.
Hi @palomar83,
>Is it normal? I would not expect to see this associated “failed” payment with this “authentication_required” code as the transaction was eventually successful.
It is normal to see “authentication_required” on both failed and successful transactions, as the message means that the 3DS check was triggered by the customer’s card.
For a failure, we’d expect to see “CARD_ERROR_AUTHENTICATION_REQUIRED”.
If I understand correctly you’re seeing the following in your Stripe dashboard:
– transaction failure message
– 3DS ‘authentication required’ message
– transaction successful
If not, please list what you’re seeing. What do you see on the WooCommerce side?It would be helpful to find out more about what’s happening on your site with regards to the failed/success flow.
Do you have debug logging enabled in Stripe? You can find that setting under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe.
Please enable that and make a test purchase. Stripe has card numbers listed here that you can use to test the 3DS flow: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/3d-secure#three-ds-cards
Next, take a look at the logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs, select Stripe from the dropdown, and click View. Scroll to the bottom to find the most recent entry.
Let us know what you find there.
If you’d prefer to continue this with support directly, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Product Sync faultyHi @bohei thanks for the log and the additional details.
You mention all products have the same name – are they variations of the same product?
In WooCommerce, do you see the variant IDs listed, like this: https://d.pr/i/CkjNxv
Is the ‘Facebook ID’ listed there?
Do you have other variable products in your store, and were these synced correctly to Facebook?
Thanks for helping us to narrow down the problem by providing these extra details.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Brand name for dynamic addsHi @karollis3,
To fix both of these issues, please reset the products by using the script here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce-delete-or-reset-all-facebook-products/#reset-all-products
Once you’ve done that, you can re-connect to Facebook to sync them again. This should include the brands, and remove the duplication.
I hope that helps!
Hi @mjmontero thank you for sending the images.
Some of them got fixed by resaving the products but others didn’t.
Could you please provide a link to a product that did not update after saving, as well as one that did update?
Next, please enable logging under Marketing > Facebook, then wait for another sync (this happens every 15 minutes). Please send the log file so we can check what is sent to Facebook. You will find it under WooCommerce > Status > Logs, under Facebook in the dropdown list.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] ViewContent event not firing on product pagesHi @cuberogroup,
As a first thing to try, can you check the configuration of any caching plugins on your site? This section of the documentation explains that certain caching settings can block some pixel events from running.
Can you identify which of the warnings given on this page is the one you saw in your Pixel Helper? – https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-pixel/support/pixel-helper
Can you navigate to WP Admin → WooCommerce → Status → Logs and tell us if there are any fatal or critical errors relating to the Facebook extension?
Finally please disconnect and reconnect the plugin then test again. If the behaviour persists, please also reply here with a confirmation of the Facebook for WooCommerce version number.
It will be great if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.
Looking forward to hearing back from you!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Business Locations Not Showing (Square)Thanks for testing @dustinw.
Locations are queried from Square and are only listed if they are marked Active and have Credit Card Processing enabled.
Please log into your Square dashboard and verify that you see this listed for your location.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Not sync variablesHi @galinabublik,
Please enable debug logging under Marketing > Facebook on your site.
You will find the log under WooCommerce > Status > Logs – look in the dropdown for the Facebook log, then click View. This should give more information as to what’s happened with these variations.

In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Sync issue and opt out product syncHi @ocean75,
Sorry to hear about the trouble.
In the settings under Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync, you can set a tag that will not be sent to Facebook: https://d.pr/i/ffQUwH
Please create a tag to use to stop the products from syncing. When you upload the file, include your do-not-sync tag, and the products should be excluded.
Hi @titowhisky
>” doesn’t exist but underwent a visibility transform.”
This could be referring to an item that was synced to your Facebook store from WooCommerce, but later deleted. Then, WooCommerce tried to change the visibility setting of the item.
For more details, please enable logging under Marketing > Facebook
You’ll find the log under WooCommerce > Status > Logs, looking in the dropdown on the right for the Facebook log.
