    Hi there @johnexposureninja

    Thanks for your question.

When coupons are applied, I get the “coupon applied” message but no difference is shown in cart. Cart totals still remain the same.

It might be a conflict happening. I’d suggest trying to disable any caching plugin and or ensure that cart or checkout page are not cached.

Please refer to this doc: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @angeldavo

    Thanks for your question!

Is it possible to view each customer’s coupons assigned to their email in the My Account section?

As far as I am aware, it’s not possible, but it’s possible to view it on the order page on the backend.

    Hi @prabhatdhakal1990

    Thanks for your question.

    `To display the categories i am using this shortcode “[product_categories limit=”6″ columns=”6″ parent=”0″ orderby=”rand”]”

The parent categiries comes just fine. However I have noticed that only 6 categories can be diaplayed. The moment I change the above shortcode limit=”7″ and more, then the categories will be displayed on the full page. Also i though to increase the column=”7″ still it doesn’t work.

How do i get the all categories displayed on one row?`

So you want to display all categories in one row.

I have tested on my test site using Storefront theme. By the default when using [product_categories], all categories are displayed but they’re in 4 column by default.

I was able only similar to your case, using 6 columns max: [product_categories columns="6"].

It’s seems to be by default capped at 6 columns max.

Therefore, you then would need some code customization here. We highly recommend contacting one of the services on our Customizations page

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @tarasp100878

    Thanks for your question!

I understand that you’re trying to create a custom feature on the order page adding the capability to print off the order.

Perhaps you want to consider using the following plugin: WooCommerce Print Invoices & Packing lists.

From the description, it seems to meet your requirement:

This plugin allows you to easily print documents for orders straight from the Orders page (individually and in bulk), while editing orders, and allows customer to view invoices from the “My Account” page.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @revsamara

    Thanks for your question!

I’d like to see the orders in Stripe itemized according to product purchased. In WooCommerce I can see the itemized orders, but only the order number and order total get imported to Stripe. Is there a way to itemize orders in Stripe?

Unfortunately, at the moment, that is not possible.

But I see that other users have voted this feature here: https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce/suggestions/15226917-include-itemized-order-data-when-sending-payments

Feel free to vote this feature/enhancement request on the above link!

    Hi @egocefalo

    Thanks for your reply.

What I need is to get rid of the error not to change any functionality. So what I need is what facebook wants, to import just the SKU not a combination of the SKU+ID or separate fields or else, just that field that already exists on facebook filled with the correct data = the SKU.

    Thanks for clarifying!

I have had a first hand experience of this case I think. So currently the behavior is:

    • If you don’t define an SKU for your product, the plugin will take the product ID for the Content ID (Item 1)
    • If you define an SKU for your product, that SKU will be the one for the Content ID column, in the Facebook Catalog (Item 2)

Please see the screenshot below for details:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/VgwaMd

    The Issue

It could be that at some point you didn’t define product SKU, making the Content ID as the product ID, and you made a chance adding SKUs. This way Facebook could have not properly updated your existing products, so instead of updating Product ID with SKU, instead, combining them.

It’s likely a sign of product update sync being unsuccessful as the root cause of the issue you’re facing at the moment.

    Next Steps

I would suggest you to do the following to resolve it:

    1. Clear WooCommerce transient data here WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click - Clear Transients (Button on right)

    2. If there is any duplicate products in Facebook, and you know which one is the correct one, then you can delete the duplicated/wrong ones. Say you know a product name, type in the Catalog > Items on Facebook, and then if more than one product comes up with different content ID, keep the one that’s the latest, say with SKU and remove the rest.

    3. Do a full manual sync again, please ensure that you have a good PHP time limit to avoid timeout, by going to Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, and click Sync product.

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @petar777

Thanks for sharing those details including the log data:

The Instagram profile was not connected to the page in the Business Manager. However, after connecting it – the problem persists. Can we look further in this?

Also, the product catalogue is not syncing can you help me on that as well?

When you said: the product catalogue is not syncing can you help me on that as well, do you mean it’s not connected to your Instagram catalog or to the Facebook catalog?

Secondly about adding Instagram, I see that you have confirmed that your Instagram account is a business account, perhaps you converted this before from personal to business which is awesome!

    The Next Steps

Not sure how you added Instagram account previously, could you please try again to do the following steps to add your Instagram account to your Facebook for WooCommerce connection through a Commerce account:

If your Instagram account is eligible, it should work adding it.

If you see any error notice when adding the IG account, please take the screenshot so we can know the reason.

I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL here.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hi @adwjoe

Thanks for sharing further about your work on the plugin.

We have received a feedback from our developers.

Basically we have an open issue to update Square package, it’s a low priority as the objects response we get from this 2-year old Square package is all we need to run the plugin.

However, we have marked this as high priority now. But it will be re-marked low priority if this will require a lot of re-work to refactor other requests (payment, sync, import, etc).

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @yknivag

    Thanks for your patience.

Any automated emails sent out to communicate order status, refunds, etc, should be disabled for all Facebook orders. Facebook will send emails to customers directly and any additional emails would be duplicative, leading to a negative customer experience.

In regards to the above paragraph from our documentation, we have been in touch with our developers.

It’s indeed confusing since there is no further guide on how to disable it and if this is disabled by default, etc.

    Our developers are investigating this.

    Sidenote:

If you already buying ads from Facebook and already generating orders from Facebook as you enable checkout on Facebook, for example, please confirm that you see that if there is any emails sent by Facebook regarding those orders.

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi there @glamtech

    Thanks for your question!

`I renamed a product category on my website

    Old Category : beauty-supplies

    New Category : waxing-equipment-wax-products-beauty-supplies

Google has indexed the website, and has found the old category which is not in the sitemap, and the new category which is in the sitemap.

    Old Category
    https://glamouriche.co.za/shop/beauty-supplies/depilatory-wax-heater-3-in-1-warmer/

    New Category
    https://glamouriche.co.za/shop/waxing-equipment-wax-products-beauty-supplies/depilatory-wax-heater-3-in-1-warmer/

How do I remove this old category from my website?
Surely this can’t be good for SEO’s etc.`

I understand that you changed the product category and it might be that there is some caching data left over.

Could you please do the following to ensure the old product category no longer work?

    • Please clear your cache if you use any caching plugins
    • Please clear WooCommerce Transient data here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right)
    • Also please to regenerate terms (category) data here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Term counts > Click – Recount Terms (Button on right)

    I hope that helps.

Please let me know how it goes!

    Hi there @dazzerr

I hope you’re well and thanks for your question!

Users of my site sometimes use their email address as their username when creating an account at the checkout. How can I add a notice to stop them from using characters such as “@” in the username field?

You can either use WooCommerce Cart Notice to alert about the restriction of the use of special characters in username, or use this handy plugin to disable special characters in usernames.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @jdgio

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ll try to prepare the staging site ( I needed a preproduction site anyway). And do the compatibility test. I hope it’s not related to the theme I’m using or the cart flow extension.

Please do let us know when you have done the conflict test either on your live site by using Health Check plugin for example or on your staging site.

    Hi @brave9

    Thanks for your question.

Facebook pixel is updated and sending reports. But Still I can not RUN FACEBOOK ADS as it says there is not Pixel on the website.
Where this plugin says I have the pixel set.

Below is the error I am getting on the Events Manager

You’re sending AddToCart events through both your pixel and the Conversions API, but they’re not being deduplicated properly because not enough of these events are receiving an event_id parameter. Event instances sent without an event_id parameter cannot be deduplicated.

This may cause issues with the measurement of your events as well as the attribution and delivery optimization of any ad campaigns that are optimizing for this event.

    That’s really odd 🙁

We can confirm that by default, the plugin, intelligently deduplicates events that are sent both from the browser pixel events and server-to-server events (Conversions API) to ensure no double-counted events.

    Excerpt from our blog:

With the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, the same data that flows through Conversions API and the Facebook Pixel is deduplicated based on a unique event ID, so there’s no concern about the same events being double-counted.

This could be an intermittent issue affecting some users as I don’t have a similar issue and it’s not widespread.

However, we have an open bug report regarding this Missing Some Deduplication Parameters and our devs are working to ensure this resolved.

If you have made sure no other plugin that does FB pixel and also no caching plugins that could affect it, for now, I’d suggest manually click “Resolve” or “Ignore” on the Facebook site as we keep monitoring this and working on the above mentioned open issue, and also working with Facebook to ensure the accuracy of the report.

Or as a work around you can temporarily disable the auto pixel injection using the following code snippet:

    add_filter( 'facebook_for_woocommerce_integration_pixel_enabled', '__return_false' );

You can use Code Snippet plugin to insert this code.

And then, you can keep Facebook for WooCommerce for the products syncing, while for Facebook pixel, you can use another plugin that does Facebook pixel for example, Facebook for WordPress by Facebook.

    I hope that helps!

That sounds a great plan @lsjl1

Oh I forgot to mention that as Cara previously mentioned as well, could you please open one of those pending orders, and take the screenshot?

Here is an example of the screenshot we’re looking for:
