  • Hi @baemu

    Thanks for your question!

We have had another user who got the same issue:

Something went wrong – This Page is unavailable at the moment

Can you please try the solution detailed here?

Please let me know if that works for you!

    Hi @jodiallbon

I hope you’re well, and hanks for your question!

We cant connect the woocommerce to facebook plugin. When I click get started in wp-admin under the marketing > facebook.
It redirects to FB, I login, Add the business page then prompted to login to instagram. When I add the login details in it comes up with an error – saying “the instagram username or password are invalid”. And this is not true as I previously logged into instagram in a new browser tab with the same details and it worked. So not sure why it’s doing this.

    That’s odd!

It could be that the Instagram account needs to be added to your Facebook Business Manager first.

Please try to add it to your Business Manager and try again: Add an Instagram account to a Business Manager.

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi there @shoptak

    Thanks for your question!

I couldn’t connect to my Instagram account its saying Eligible note that the account I’m using during my configuration has full access permission on all my business manager settings and accounts.

Could you please share the complete screenshot of the error notice saying the account isn’t eligible?

We recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply.

Additionally, as far as what I understood, Instagram account eligibility beyond our scope of support. It’s entirely depending on Instagram’s own policy.

I’d strongly suggest to check the following document, and check if you comply with all those points: Commerce eligibility requirements

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @omerior

I want to enter a different catalog feed to show different prices to different countries. A must-have feature that you might consider adding in the future

That’s indeed a cool feature, but at the moment it’s not possible 🙁

Feel free to submit your feature request here on our Facebook for WooCommerce Ideas Board.

    Hi there @dgttm

    Thanks for your question!

After installing WMPL and adding several languages, I had a huge mess in my facebook catalogue.

therefore I tried to clean up in facebook manager, but that was too complicated (and also not working) so I deleted the whole catalogue and created a new one.

We have some product synchronization issues reported when Facebook for WooCommerce and WMPL are installed. This is likely due to a multi language plugin will duplicate product pages, thus it messes up the synced products to Facebook catalog.

I am able to reconnect according to your howto successfully, but when I do a fresh manual product sync, no items appear in my catalogue.

Could you please try to temporarily deactivate WPML and then try to create a simple WooCommerce product and see it that’s synced to your Facebook catalog?

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @andynattrucks

I tried to install this plugin but then encountered an error. A few hours later my Business Manager was restricted because of the “suspicious activity”.

Everything inside that BM was banned including Ad accounts and all personal accounts. It’s important to note that my BM account is highly credible and hasn’t been banned before because of violating policy.

I am sorry to hear that you have such a very unpleasant experience with Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

Please note we haven’t heard any similar report previously saying that ad accounts were banned because of using our plugin.

Personally I have an old Facebook ad-account and has been running without a problem with Facebook for WooCommerce.

I understand that you have concluded the “account-ban” was related to Facebook for WooCommerce as the error encountered during installation came before the Business Manager “suspicious activity” notice later on.

Please note that it’s quite impossible that our plugin to have caused the account-ban as the plugin has integrated with Facebook officially through our WooCommerce Integration app. Thus, any activity arising out of it can’t be categorized as “suspicious”.

If you happened to contact us regarding that error during installation, we would be more than happy to investigate and resolve the error.

Now if you have the Facebook for WooCommerce error logs, and want us to take a look further at them, feel free to submit a ticket on our website.

You can contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

Apart from that, I do hope that Facebook will get back to you soon and remove the restriction, provided that you have sent them an appeal.

    Hi there @cecilebrillet

We provide support in English so I tried to translate your question using Google Translate:

Good morning ! The synchronization no longer works between Woocommerce and the Hiboutik cash register software. I recreated a new API … I contacted Hiboutik and Infomaniak the host … Could this come from the site’s Let’s Encrypt certificate? (which I also updated) Dixit Infomaniak do you have to wait for the wordpress 5.8.2 update? Thank you for your feedback, Cécile

If you have Hiboutik integration issue with WordPress, you’re right to have contacted Hiboutik support.

    Hi @melidox

Thanks for reporting your problem, I am happy to help.

Something went wrong when connecting to facebook!

    Please try again

The above warning is usually caused by your account detail. Could you please double-check if your personal Facebook account, connected to the Business Manager, has the 2 Factor Authentication enabled?

If it is enabled but you’re still having the problem, please proceed with the below steps to resolve the problem.

    Next Steps

    FIRST PART:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/b20NbB

It will finally get removed completely so you can make a new integration:

    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/24P3ke

    SECOND PART:

    • Please deactivate the plugin and then delete it
    • Then install the latest version of the plugin
    • And then access your phpMyAdmin, we’re going to manually remove the database left over that’s not yet removed after the deletion.
    • Please make sure that you create a full database backup before performing this step.
    • Click on wp_options table and then search for wc_facebook_, once found, please select them and delete them.

Below is the screencast of the process:

    THIRD PART:

    • Once the above steps are done. Please install Facebook for WooCommerce again, and activate it.
    • Navigate to Marketing > Facebook, click Get Started.
    • During the process of reconnecting back to Facebook, please make sure to unselect Instagram shopping, as from my experience, it will trigger an error “Something went wrong”, resulting in an unsuccessful setup, especially when you don’t have an eligible Instagram account for Instagram Shop, or outside the United States:

Please do the above steps, and let me know how it goes.

    Hi @omerior

    Thanks for your question!

Is there anyway to create localized facebook catalog with woocommerce facebook plugin or we need another plugin to do that?

Do you mean by localized facebook catalog that you want to have the products on your WooCommerce store with different languages or can show in different languages?

Facebook for WooCommerce doesn’t have localization/multi language feature, therefore, you might need a separate plugin to do that.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @jeffreeeeey

In WP Supercache I have the following excluded from being cached

    Thanks for that!

I also haven’t made any changes to the website since this post was created, yet now when I load product pages/the basket page in Google Chrome, the Google Pay button now seems to be appearing (albeit, after a 2-3 second delay).
Same with the Apple Pay button in Safari.

Since no changed have been made on my end, surely this would point towards an external issue?

The description about the intermittent issue where the Google Pay buttons for few seconds, indeed tells that it’s most likely related with some caching issue.

Could you please clear caching created out of WP Super Cache and then temporarily disable it?

When it’s disabled, please test on Google Chrome to check the Google Pay button (not in incognito window).

Please make sure that you have a payment detail stored on your Google Chrome setting: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/9244912?hl=en

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @joedough

I see that you have a problem with the second site where the setup for WooCommerce Payments was aborted because as you said:

I decided I was not going to use that on that site.

What I understand is that you want to completely remove the WooCommerce Payments unfinished account on the second site?

If so, the unfinished account should be deleted manually by us, and you can keep only one account on the first site.

To request removal of the second account, you can create a ticket on our website.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

I’m going to mark this as resolved as we will be able to help you further there.

    Hi @mccpie01

    Thanks for your question!

I do not know how to fix this error

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() class-wc-payments-localization-service.php on line 128

On any action on a website, this error is generated.

Could you please do the following and see if the error goes away?

First, update your WooCommerce Payments plugin, if it’s outdated.

Secondly, please complete the following steps to do a conflict test:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce core plugin and WooCommerce Payments plugin
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

    I hope that helps!
