    Hi @katieplummer06

would I be able to not overwrite orders received since I did the last import? I want to make sure we don’t lose our orders from May-now.

I believe that you mean by above is that you don’t want to lose orders from May-now on your Live Site?

I think the best forward perhaps to export first the orders from that point up now (from where you initially imported data from staging).

Because if you reimport, it might overwrite the orders from that point up now.

Also, I think this is a bit complicated and I suggest that you work with WooCommerce Experts to help you resolve the issue

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @jerry0000

    Thanks for your question!

Not sure which PayPal Braintree you’re using.

But perhaps you’re using our Braintree plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-powered-by-braintree/

I tested it and it appears that it’s not supported yet.

Thus, I’d suggest to use the classic checkout shortcode on your checkout page.

In the meantime, please post your feature request on WooCommerce Blocks ideas center here: https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce?category_id=384565

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @tdlanghe

I checked your screenshoot just now.

It did show that you selected the “Archive” filter on the right sidebar.

I am not sure why this happened, as Facebook for WooCommerce should basically sync to your catalog, and if your product is okay, Facebook will make it active.

I am suspecting that Facebook is kind of pre-checking your products, and perhaps there is some problem with your products, so Facebook auto-archives them.

In this case, it’s really beyond our capability to check and change that from the plugin setting, as there is no option / setting to do that.

Thus, I’d suggest that you reach out to Facebook why the synced products are posted to the Archive filter/category.

    Hi @topsan123

I want to have only “move to trash” and set it as the default bulk action option in the order page. This is what I have done, I remove unwanted options following the instruction from here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/removing-bulk-order-actions-from-order-screen/, leaving only “move to trash”.

Is there any other way to do this without editing the core file?

    Thanks for your question!

I am afraid the only way is to edit the code in the core file.

    I hope that helps!

If I delete all the products, won’t this delete the product tags I’ve added to my instagram posts too?

I believe this will delete the products only not tags. If you mean if this is going to delete the products that have been tagged in Instagram posts, yes, most possibly.

You can try to delete one product and see if that’s the case, because I don’t have a working Instagram account connected to my Facebook to test.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @sonusingh

I want to access woocommerce cart data in the contact form 7 hook. I tried various methods but I was not able to access the data. Can you please guide me on what I need to do to achieve this?

    Thanks for your question!

I think this article might help: WooCommerce: Get Cart Info (total, items, etc) from $cart Object

This is something that would require custom code, I recommend you to check the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of WooCommerce Community Slack to get feedback from WooCommerce experts. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi there @wmsas

    Thanks for your questions!

How the product feed work? In particular, for product that had been synced, and then changed the product visibility to hidden. These products will remain in the feed?

If you set the product to Don’t Sync and Show, it will be hidden and longer in the feed.

If a product is synced to Merchant Center, and then is removed from the feed, this product remains in Merchant Center?

Technically when it’s removed from the feed, it should be removed from Merchant Center. However, I haven’t tested this to confirm.

There is a way to add custom labels (0-4) to the product? In this way I can filter the products with those labels for Ads campaigns.

I read through our plugin FAQs, it appears, it’s not supported.

    `Suggestions:

Add custom labels 0 to 4
Add button to manually sync Product feed
Add an option to map Google feed field to existing product data, i.e. the product attribute Color to the color Google Feed field`

    Thanks for your valuable suggestions!

Feel free to submit the suggestions on our ideas center here.

    Hey @jmarkj

Thanks for sharing the system status report!

    It looks good to me:

    – Server environment with great values to make sure synchronization job run well
    – You also don’t really have a lot of products, (product: 148, product_variation: 4)

the problem with “out of stock” products designated as such in Woocommerce but still showing up on the Facebook Shop page

That’s really odd that it didn’t work for you.

I have two working sites connected to Facebook and they’re working fine.

I tried to test the same scenario just now, here’s what I did:

    – I updated my product to out of stock on WooCommerce side
    – Then I checked it’s showing out of stock as well on the Facebook catalog

Here are two screenshots of the above:

    Out of stock on WooCommerce

    Out of stock on Facebook

What could be the root cause of your issue, with the product stock isn’t updated/reflected on your Facebook catalog?

It could be that you have more than one catalogs perhaps.

Please check if the product you’re seeing doesn’t get update is the product that belongs to the catalog connected to your WooCommerce site.

I mean it could be that you have more than two catalogs.

The one connected to your WooCommerce store is A. You updated the product belonging to this A catalog.

But you’re actually seeing that product in a different catalog.

You can check again the product that isn’t updated on Facebook catalog, take note of the catalog ID.

Then, you can go here: WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook, click on the catalog link here. Is this catalog ID the same or not?

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi @jmarkj

    Thanks for your question!

Having a continual issue where products that are out of stock on our website still show in the Shop catalog on our Facebook page.

To understand better your WooCommerce site system, so we can accordingly provide better guidance to help troubleshoot the issue, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status.

Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here in your reply

    Hi @lind22

`I tried creating a product, inserting the stock and checking that it was sync and show in the catalog.. but the variants don’t have the link (variant ID) like the other products.

    https://ibb.co/6XwDxZT

    https://ibb.co/C10NfC8

Do you think the problem is updating?`

    Thanks for your update!

I checked the picture and saw yes there were no Variant IDs.

    NEXT STEP

I’d like you to do the following steps:

1 – Please increase your site PHP time limit, currently it’s set to 60. At least you’d need to increase it to 1400 as you have a lot of products:

    product: 992
    product_variation: 5969
    revision: 2840

PHP time limit is recommended to be high as product sync uses it. The higher, the more time allocated for the script to process synchronization for that a lot of products, the lesser the chance that synchronization will time out and fail in the middle.

2 – Secondly, please update your plugin to version 2.6.5. Your installed version is 2.4.1

3 – Have you enabled debugging? It’s here WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook. If yes, pleas find the last log Facebook for WooCommerce here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Logs > Select – Log under drop-down (right side) > Click – View button, select the log with Facebook word in the title, followed by the latest date. Then copy paste the log text onto here https://gist.github.com/ and share the link with us.

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi @baemu

Thank you very much for the response and the solution. However, the business manager says that I am the owner and have full rights to the page. The extra steps in that post didn’t really help me because I’m already full owner and admin and can’t really add a page I don’t own.

    That’s really odd!

Please note it seems to be beyond our control here, we don’t exact information why it happened.

However, I did fix this. I ended up having to give up and created a whole new page, and a whole new catalog in order to get the integration working. I’m going to trash the old page and old catalog and start fresh so I can start posting products.

I literally chose the “new page” and “new catalog” options in order to get the integration working. I’m fine with getting rid of the old page and putting in a new one.

There you go! I think that was the best way you could do.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to let us know in a new thread 🙂

    Hi @miikewordpress

Man, every plugin author tells me their plugins are fine if it works with storefront.
The themes I’m using were sold 50,000 copies on themeforest and have no conflic issues with 50 other plugins I run.
The debug logs from the OP and me trace down to functions.php of the themes but also seem like fbutils.php and fbproduct.php are involved.
Isn’t this a Facebook Plugin + Theme compatibility issue?

    I get your point.

My Facebook account manager insited a few times in the past 3 years I use their official plugin and I always declined because I always had issues with this plugin. I kept using Pixel Caffeine which I never had issues with. I just want a peaceful migration to this plugin without having to renew the supports of the two themes not knowing whether they will even think it’s their problems.

Thanks a lot for sharing the background information using Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

I am happy to have a look further, could you please open a ticket directly with us?

    Hi @arlettepuck

    Thank you for contacting us!

My old products (that are no longer in stock and are therefor removed from my backend) aren’t removed from my FB catalogue and show still in stock. I have no other data source than the Woocommerce app, so this isn’t the issue.

Most likely there was some issue in syncing the stock status of those old products.

The best way is delete them from your Facebook catalog. Here’s the guide from Facebook on how to delete items from catalog, including how to delete multiple items at once: Delete Items From a Catalog.

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @miikewordpress

I hope you’re well, and thanks for your question!

I have the exact same problem of getting a blank screen at wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-facebook when I try to go to configuration after plugin installation.

This happens to our 2 websites that use different themes. However the issue resolves when I try storefront theme.

Could you please create a new thread instead so we can focus on your issue?

Anyway, it’s clear from what you said above that the root cause of the issue was your theme. It’s pretty beyond what we could do here as we can’t really guarantee that all 3rd party themes work with the plugin.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @tdlanghe

    Thanks for your question!

Plenty of my products are synced in the catalog but they are archived in the catalog. Even the status in woocommerce is ‘sync and show’.
I can manually click every product and click active, but I get the notification that it should be done from woocommerce.
Why new products are set to archive?

That’s strange! I have an active synced catalog with the plugin and I haven’t experienced the same issue.

Could you please take the screenshot of your archived products on your catalog?

Did this happen recently only, and it was working fine before?

Can you try create a dummy/test product and sync it, let me know if that’s archived immediately on Facebook catalog?

    Look forward to your reply.
