In reply to: How to use Category Custom Template?I noticed this on two website I have. One uses the Catch Box theme the other uses the Thesis framework. They each have mostly different plugins so I suppose it’s coming from the themes. I thought it was WordPress.
What I’m looking for is a way to automatically display a post in category X with a particular custom template that has somehow been associated with category X. Right now I have to manually select the desired template when I edit a post in category X.
I don’t know php so I was excited to see this custom template on the category add form. But that’s a dead end. Any ideas on how to accomplish what I’m looking for?
Thanks.

I noticed your question from several months ago. Do you still have the question? If you do I can describe how I’m approaching this.

Here’s some more information. WordFence say’s this:
Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/peters-login-redirect/readme.txt
Filename: wp-content/plugins/peters-login-redirect/readme.txt
File type: Plugin
Issue first detected: 1 hour 3 mins ago.
Severity: Warning
Status New
This file belongs to plugin “Peter’s Login Redirect” version “2.9.0” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by WordPress.org for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade. Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly. [See our FAQ on http://www.wordfence.com for more info]:Word fence also has a link to see the changes but clicking it gives this message:
WordFence API error: We could not locate that plugin in our repository.I don’t know what that msg. means, whether it can’t find it my installation or or something they maintain.
There is an option to restore the original version which I have not tried yet.

In reply to: [Participants Database] Update participant info from form?I found the private link functionality. However, on the emails the private link text is included but the private link is not. What else needs to be set up for the private link in an email. The message is the default one and it looks ok to me.

In reply to: Changing categoriesIf I edit a post after it’s been published will it be submitted to pingomatic again when I save it? My understanding is that a another submission for the same post would be frowned on.
