Read only forum topics

Is there a way to have a forum readable by everyone but without the ability to add or edit threads?

To clarify, I don’t want anyone to be able to add or edit threads even if they are logged in.

Threads can be closed so they are read-only.

I am working on an option to close forums as well. So only administrators/moderators have the possibility to create new topics in it.

This enhancement will be included in the upcoming v1.0.12 release.
