In reply to: Spell CheckerThere are two on the page that I just tried.
The Ajax checker finds spelling errors but won’t save the corrected word. It’s also very slow. But’t seems better than nothing. At least I can find them.
Spell Checker doesn’t work with WP 2.

In reply to: How to log into a pageDoes anybody have any information that could help with the question I asked?
Moshu or anyone else, do you have any information that could help me?
Thanks.I would like to enable a select group of people to view posts that are Private. When they login I would like them to be taken directly to the posts. So far it looks to me like the login takes you to Your Profile. The it seems you have to click View Site at the top of that page. But that link isn’t very obvious. So I’d like to have a easier login process that gets you to the posts more directly.

In reply to: No header cgraphic when printingSome more information . . .
The image is in a print.css file with this line.#masthead {background-image: url(‘images/header.jpg’);}
That same line is in the style.css. Actually, I have no idea what I’m doing with the print.css and styles in general. I used the instructions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Styling_for_Print.
I took the entire style.css and used in print.css hoping that I’d get lucky. Now the print looks close to the browser version, but again, the image doesn’t show.

In reply to: Static Front PageI think our messages crossed. I didn’t see the renaming suggestion. I renamed the file and it works.
THANKS!!

In reply to: Static Front PageActually, I do have that installed and I think it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. Let me describe what I’m trying to do. Maybe I’m going about it wrong.
I’d like my web site to have the same look as WP as far as headers and footers are concerned with WP installed in a subdirectory. So I thought that what I should do is use the code in my first message to “insert” the header in the site’s html files. Like I said. that hasn’t worked as described in the article but I’m probably doing something wrong.
What the static-front plug-in does is start the blog with the Page that has a slug of Home. But what I’m trying to do is have my home page in a normal html file outside the WP and again, have all the web pages take on the same look and feel.
Boy, I hope I’m being clear enough.

In reply to: Printout is plainThe site is http://www.goldnuggetcoaching.com/blog
(I just started setting it up with WP so consider it a rough draft.)I searched the entire install directory for media=”print” and no files showed up with this in the contents.
I’ve also installed a number of styles and they all seem to have the same issue.
By the way, there’s another seemingly related problem. When I do Print Preview in FireFox I see the plain etxt. But when I exit the preview the controls in FireFox stop working. This does not happen in IE.

In reply to: Printout is plainThe only style sheets in my installation are wp-admin.css and style.css. I’m also a beginner with style sheets. Is there somewhere I can get the style sheet that prints WSWIG and install it in my setup?
This happens with the Default theme.
